Want Want Chinese Food — Restaurant in Greater Strathcona

I ordered spicy beef fried rice, 2 spring rolls, and chicken fried rice for delivery:) I knew when i opened that spicy beef fried rice it was gonna be amazing. I asked them to make it as spicy as they could and I also got chili sauce on the side. The flavors, spiciness and the presentation was so beautiful. Seeing those chili peppers made my day lol. They achieved exactly what i asked for and i’m so thankful for that. The food came hot and the flavors of everything was spectacular. Ordered the dinner for 1, green onion cakes and won ton soup. Food was very greasy with very little flavour. There was also a weird stale/cigarette smell amd taste to all the food, as though the ingredients used were not fresh. The amount of food you get for the price is small. The wife says this is the best Chinese food in Edmonton, so it gets 5 stars. We ordered out so I don't have my normal review for you. Got here fast and hot. The shrimp dumplings are awesome, with or without lemon sauce. Singapore noodles are delicious but the twice cooked pork is f'in amazing. Put a little spice on it, you won't be disappointed.
