Terrible experience at this location. Came in on a Sunday night, there were two servers working, and two other tables seated in the entire restaurant, so you'd assume we'd have some quality service. Incorrect.
We came in as two people, but we're waiting on three others. Our server quickly sat us at a table and gave us some menus and water, but neglected to ask us if we wanted anything else to drink. We planned on ordering some appetizers while we waited on the rest of our group, but the server never came back to us. We waited approximately 15-20 minutes for a server to check in on us, and tried to get their attention twice afterwards, but they totally ignored us and walked on past. She locked eyes with us, while we tried to get her to attention the second time, just to power on past to the kitchen and have a conversation with the kitchen staff.
After no interaction from our server for over 20 minutes since we've were seated, and being blatantly ignored, we called the rest of our group and made plans to eat across the street instead. Abosultely insane to have such lackluster service when the severs outnumbered the tables.
I can't speak to the quality of the food, since we never even made it that far. We'd have loved to have tried it, if we could've manage to have our...

My dining experience was not the best. I think it may due to new out of lockdown/policies in place so I think this restaurant can still work on getting better as we head back into normal.
My dining experience we can in around 10 PM, we received out food all of the food minus the fries. The fries were somewhat warm like maybe it sat too long for pickup to our table.
I asked for extra ketchup and an refill on my pop. We didn't receive either overall I think the server got distracted doing last rounds we waited for our bill.
Luckily we reviewed our bill before paying we were billed a second pop and I was unaware of no free refills that could be overlooked by me we were billed for it or not told it would be another charge. Our waitress offered to get it then I appreciate the offer by that moment we wanted to leave as we finished our meal.
Not the worst experience not the best either.
I edited my review to say I called the restaurant due the template reply that lacked detail of reply...
Read moreWhat a beautiful restaurant in the heart of the entertainment district in downtown Halifax! A group of us were looking for a snack and drinks after attending a Halifax Thunderbirds lacrosse game. Argyle Street was busy with celebrating fans and early St. Patrick's Day celebrations so we decided to check out Moxie's in the Nova Centre to watch the action from there. Staff quickly pulled a few tables together in a window spot for our group of 9 and we ordered drinks and some shareable appetizers. No photos as the food did not last long but the dry ribs were yummy and the parmesan truffle fries - have mercy! - they were perfectly crispy and so, so tasty! There were other apps too but the guys at the other end of the table made short work of them! Staff was great but busy with customers spread out over this beautiful, open concept restaurant with a large bar in the center of the room. I can see this being a spot for us to visit pre and post games...
