Pizza Girls on Pizza corner — Restaurant in Halifax

Old review from 2 months ago: We ordered from there last week and after about a 45 mins we were getting pretty hungry. We then got a phone call from then apologizing profusely and saying there was a mix up with our order. They didn't want to give us a cold pizza so they made a new one. They also asked if they could offer us some pop no charge for the wait. When the pizza came it was hot and delicious. We ordered again tonight and they remembered us and thanked us again for giving them their business! Excellent customer service and delicious pizza :)

New review: I hate to have to change my review but the service at Pizza Girls has drastically changed since the first few times we've ordered. Every time we order the music on their end is so loud and sometimes I can barely hear the person taking my order. Every time I try to give them specific instructions on how to get to our apartment (left side of the house, second door) they always brush me off and say that they'll give the driver my phone number. Without fail, every time, I get a call from a grumpy driver who can't find my apartment. The drivers are almost always sour. Tonight was the icing on the cake. We ordered a pizza and were told 35 mins or less. 1 hour later, still no pizza, we called to see what was up. They had to wait for a driver. Ok, no big deal! When the pizza finally arrived, it was cold and hard. It was a missing a topping and we realized we had been charged $5 more than we had the previous time. We order the exact same pizza almost every time (sometimes we switch up sizes). When we called to ask about our pizza and hopefully get a new one, the woman on the phone seemed annoyed and was also slurring her words. She didn't really explain anything, and actually ended up hanging up on us. We were not being rude, just a little bit hungry. The story starts off with me wanting to eat something healthy for a change. I decided to get a Poke Bowl from this Pizza Girls / Katch Seafood. I ordered pineapple on my bowl, as well as a few other veggies and some Ahi Tuna. Everything was fine except for the pineapple, which tasted and smelled like alcohol. I called the establishment soon after finding this in my food. The phone call was very unprofessional. I asked if they put a sauce on their pineapple to see if that was the cause of the flavour, but the woman on the phone said they did not. When I asked if there's anything we can do about this, the woman hung up on me. I called back promptly and asked to speak with a supervisor. She said that he would be back in about a half hour. I called back a half hour later and the supervisor told me I could come in at 11AM the next morning to get my money back. I told him that wouldn't be possible and that I needed it tonight. After a few minutes of going back and forth, the supervisor finally told me to come get my money back tonight. I find it extremely ridiculous that when I called about bad food they treated me like this. I WILL NOT be returning and I feel bad for anybody that ends up having to call this place. Super disappointing even for late-night drunk food. It took forever to get served even though everyone was just buying slices, which were just laid out on the counter in a room temperature setting. When I finally had my order taken I asked for their fish & chips burger as they were still advertising it on their menu and I'm lactose intolerant so I unfortunately couldn't just grab a slice. The server told me they didn't sell those, which is completely acceptable, but maybe stop advertising that you do. So then I asked for a donair, the server rolled her eyes at me and walked slowly to the back, and came back two minutes later saying they aren't serving donairs right now. So I ask for my final request, the fish and chips combo they had on the sign, she said they weren't serving fish either, so I left.
