Sicilian Pizza — Restaurant in Halifax

My friends and I headed over to Sicilians after the game to grab a quick bite before going home .

My friends ordered pizza and to "save time" and avoid making two stops I decided to order a reg. poutine from their location as it was on the menu.

There was no line when we placed our orders and my friends got their pizzas shortly after. I figured mine may be a bit longer as it is not the main selling food at this location so I waited. 10 minutes later after a herd of ppl came through and had their orders placed / received I figured at this point something was up. Just before I got the nerve to ask About my food's status , I overheard the floor manager figure out that the staff collectively over looked my order and then finally had one of the them get it started. They asked who ordered the poutine and then instructed me to wait in a different location .

I didn't complain- I just followed my instructions and waited because I know that mistakes can happen.

Another 10 minutes passed and As I was just about to say screw it and leave without my food, the floor manager came around and finally handed me my order. What really bothered me was that there was NO apology OR even an acknowledgment that I had just waited 20 + minutes for a regular poutine.

Went to this place for dinner and waited 45 mins for our food, asked for the girl to wipe our table off, I stood waiting for a place to sit and eat as all the tables were dirty, waited 10 mins for the girl to come wipe the tables off and she didn’t come over so I got tired of waiting and wiped it off myself, right after I did that she comes out and wipes all the other tables off with a smirk on her face, not even asking to wipe mine and my boyfriends table off. The pizza I got was cold and tasted like it was sitting out all day, it was horrible. They had kids running around in their kitchen touching everything which is really unsanitary. My father asked for a can of soda which had something gross all over it so he asked for a new one and all she did was wipe it off on herself so he just asked for a different kind of soda. Wanted to treat myself on this hot summer day so i decided on a donair. I orginally was going to go across the street but it was busy so i went here, thet were always a solid choice in the past. Big mistake.

the cook was in the dining area taking down decorations when i came in. Acknowledged the cashier he had an order and still took his time to throw away stuff OUTSIDE. Then he comes in and doesn't bother to wash his hands before starting my food.

Then the food itself. instead of shaving my donair off the spindle (which was right there with meat on it) he takes it out of a pan on the condiment line and puts it on the grill to heat it up. the meat looked soggy and had an odd texture to it, which is probably from condensation when it cooled in the line. this was their last chance and they blew...
