Myself and my group of five had lunch here on Thursday 14 August.
We heard from some locals that this place had a great rooftop deck space for dining, unfortunately it was closed due to weather when we visited.
We were greeted and seated promptly, our server was super nice and friendly. Our drink order came quick and was delicious. We were enjoying our time and chatting when right before our food came we saw a mouse dash across one of the adjacent tables. We immediately notified our server who was apologetic and cleaned the table that we spotted the mouse at. After that, we heard nothing further beyond our servers apology for the situation. Again, she was sweet and kind, and we felt guilty about leaving, so some of our party finished their meals and we paid and left. Our food order had mixed reviews-the burger was delicious, two of our party had the shawarma bowl and a burrito bowl which they said were okay, but weren’t anything special. The chicken Caesar wrap was not good. The chicken was bland and the Caesar dressing had weak Caesar flavor-it tasted more like a mayonnaise dressing than Caesar. We had an order of calamari for an appetizer which was not well seasoned and greasy.
We paid our full bill and left.
I can see that the owner responded to a previous customer who commented and shared a photo of a mouse in the dining room. I am nervous posting this, and potentially having my words taken as an attempt to harm a long-standing restaurants reputation. That is not why I am posting this review. I think it’s important for other diners to hear from customers about their experience.
I’m sorry if our server did not share with the manager that we had spotted a mouse. That is not our responsibility. We aren’t the type of folks to demand to speak to a manager or expect a discount if we didn’t like the food. I get that it’s an old building in a historic district with the potential for mice and flies, which isn’t automatically a sign of uncleanliness, sometimes it can’t be helped. However, the owners should be doing more to control this issue. It’s not a great experience to see mice, regardless of the reason for their presence when you are trying to enjoy a meal.
I hope the situation improves and the mouse issue becomes better controlled. We would come back again if we could try the rooftop deck if this...
Read moreI rarely make poor reviews. I'm definitely not that guy to complain about something small and insignificant. But yesterday myself and 5 adult friends were downtown for graduation photos on the gardens for our friends daughter. It was hot. We all decided to go for a drink on a patio. None of us had done that in YEARS! When we arrived we had some help finding the right table in the shade by a waitress. There might have been 5 other customers on the patio. We sat,looked at our drink menus, and sat... And sat... And sat.... We all started to notice no one was paying any attention to our table? Unfortunately when this kind of time passes it becomes an eternity! Finally another waitress showed up and served us. This is not 100% why I'm writing this review. I watched another couple seat themselves and sat for a VERY long time. I could see them looking around wondering if anyone was going to serve them? To be honest I thought they were going to get up and leave. We actually talked about doing that. In their defence I did notice when we were leaving it was shift change. But that doesn't excuse the bar tender that gave us zero acknowledgment. The waitress that sat us and disappeared , and the few other staff that walked by us several times. And, if the patio was slammed I would also have understood. But not the case. It was like 6 adults sitting directly in front of the bar were invisible. I hope management sees this post and tells their staff if they see an empty table, ask them if they have been served? At least they can go find whoever the section belongs to and tip them...
Read morePretty good wings! They maintain the same quality majority of the times. Only issue I always have is I order pop with wings as its required on Thursdays for wing night I always get my pop super flat. Doesn't matter with/without ice. I got them to chance a couple times n different when they came back.
All considered it's one of my favorite places for wings.

The wings r still good. Food service business should have good food n good service.
I had a bad customer service ever! This waitress served almost 2 or 3 other times before. First time we let go thinking she is having a bad day. Second time we thought it's our badluck we got her again. Third time was a disaster. Didn't check how the food was if we want anything else like drinks more wings etc. Cleared the table as I was using a napkin n took away all the clean napkins. Didn't bother ask for dessert or anything even after cleaning the table. Didn't ask if we r ready to pay. Waited for 15mins n finally asked for it. She went to the till n started organizing her stuff n didn't bother getting us checks. We all stood up n were walking to the till so we can pay n walkout. She says "I want u to go back to your tables n I will bring the debt machine to pay" no thank u - no sorry for the late statements. No acknowledgment.
Will this one bad experience stop me from going back to get wings at this place? May be not!!
