Update: went back last week just to grab jalapeño poppers, that’s it’s… that was literally all.. it’s not jalepeno poppers, it doesn’t even have cream cheese, it’s mozzarella😑. If I wanted spicy mozza sticks I would order that… you guys are a poor excuse for a pizza shop and need to close IMMEDIATELY. Like this is EMBARRASSING and just depressing!
I just got around to writing this review now was tied up with work, home chores, etc but I could NOT forget about this experience to not give a review WHILST my busy schedule.
So without further ado, about 2 weeks or so ago I placed a pick up order through uber for the double medium combo B which includes 2 medium pizzas (3 toppings in each), 20 wings, a side of French fries or wedges, a garlic bread, dipping sauces, and veggies.
When the man with the earpiece is working, he’s more than generous, best service I’ve had is from him! He always goes over the top and is extremely friendly!
However, this night I got the woman… I also ordered a side Caesar salad, we had a long drive with the all the food so I asked for something small to snack on the way to add to my order, I asked for jalapeño poppers at first, she said “it takes too much time. No.” Even though that is SUPER unacceptable I still said okay can I just have a slice reheated then as they had left over slices still in the window, she said “you really want me to reheat this right now” I said “you know what forget it I’ll just add a pop and be on my way” absolutely ridiculous, if it was the guy he would’ve been more than happy to make more money and be up in sales!!
NOW, the most important, disastrous and disappointing part, get home to find that we are missing HALF of our order, again it was a long drive so it’s not like we were going back… a POUND of wings were missing, the fries part of the order we’re missing as well as the garlic bread😭. LITERALLY half my order! My partner asked for double cheese and there was barely any on there!
Too busy to go and drop jalapeños poppers or reheat a slice of pizza for me, yet half my orders missing!??? Make that make sense!
Will not be returning here, and I’ve spent LOTS of money at this place, I always order big combos, if I see the guy working there I may stop in, but anyone else, sorry, my business will not be...
Read moreAs a new customer, we ordered three times within the week using their online ordering.
On the first order (Order #1443), the pizza was generally fine, aside from a slight heavy flour taste. The garlic bread however, was very dry and not good overall. Unfortunately, it took over an hour before we received the order, even though we are a 5 minute drive away roughly. Turns out they were stacking deliveries.
The second order (Order #1452) was absolutely fantastic. The steak was a nice change and a great addition to the pizza. Timing was also quite reasonable.
The third order (Order #1458), we ordered the exact same thing and added 3 Barq's Root Beers to the order. Then we received a call from the store yet again asking for our address and accusing us of not answering last time (even though I have the receipts to prove that we received them). The order was completely different from the second in quality. I am certain they put ground beef on the pizza, even though they insisted it was steak and blamed it on a different supplier. The 3 Barq's Root Beers ordered also turned out to be Mug Root Beer. They then told me they don't carry Barq's (contrary to the website's listing), and that their website needed to be updated. Finally, I offered to bring the root beer back to the store, and the manager promised to refund me and one complimentary item to apologize for the inconvenience.
Sad when one's lack of communication, honesty and transparency ruins the entire experience. You could've had a dedicated recurring customer, but instead you chose to give me the cold shoulder and brush me off when I came into the store to talk about it, as the manager and I had agreed on.
A lack of consistency and communication is exactly why I stopped ordering from the last place. Really wish it had worked out, since I will no longer be placing future orders here after this incident...
Read moreThis place is a joke, so is the crotchety, cantankerous old man. Who is only in when it's open for business @ 11 am not sure how long he lingers for though. (Probably long enough to rip-off dozens of unknowings) The afternoon and even shift staff are phenomenal and very personable. They do whatever they need, if need be to make sure every customer has met their satisfaction. The prices of this place can't stay fixed on ONE solid price. I frequent this place quite often. Only living a couple blocks away, makes meal times less stressful. (lol) For instance, when I hop in for a can of soda the price has always been $1 (one dollar) $.87 + tax = $1.00 Except when that ornery old man, Mr. Crusty is at the helm, & tries to charge me & I'm sure others $1.25-$1.35. He should learn a little thing we, here in Canada call MATHEMATICS. Then runs his mouth after I challenge him that his website prices, DO NOT match his in store prices. He retorts loudly with, "THIS IS MY BUSINESS. I'LL CHARGE WHAT I PLEASE, YOU DON'T LIKE, LEAVE!" He lacks personality, consumer relations, compassion, restaurant service relations and customer satisfaction. Something needs to be done about HIS price list. I understand the small print that reads "prices are subject to change without notice." I'm pretty sure that doesn't mean everyday and/or whatever 'HE' pleases. He's a fraud.
They have lost a loyal customer, I will not be returning, which is too bad, because I do enjoy some of their menu items, and the later shift staff.
To answer questions below, I walked out,...
