Pizza Now — Restaurant in Kamloops

This has been my daughter’s favourite pizza place for quite some time, but I was hesitant to try it myself because….. well, because it was too affordable. Honestly, my opinion was that for what they charged that there was no way way they could provide a quality pizza (I’m a little picky when it comes to my pizza 😬) Anyways, long story short, I finally decided to try it one night about a year ago, and I haven’t looked back since. My daughter always asks for the 12” “quick pepperoni” and I will order one of their “expensive” pizzas (under $20 as of July 2025) Lately my favourite has been the Canadian, but I’ve been impressed with every pizza I’ve tried so far. If you haven’t tried Pizza Now before, I definitely suggest giving it a go. Their pizza is definitely punching well above its cost point. What really inspired me to write this review though, was an interaction I had with their delivery driver, Daniel, last night. I was in the backyard when he dropped the pizzas off, (I had pre-paid online) so he took the time to send a text letting me know the pizza’s had arrived, but more importantly, he went above and beyond to let me know that I had forgotten some valuables out in front of the house and that I should probably tuck them away before a random passerby might liberate them. Hi everyone. We decided to go to this little gem because i wanted to try a pizza place I have never been to. There is no inside seating, so it was a bit upsetting, but there are reasons behind every action. So we went to the window and asked for menus , the lady behind the window, taking orders and answering every question we had with 100 % knowledge. She was kind and polite. Her husband was the own of the 3 Dominos here in Kamloops. So he decided to start his own little pizza place in hopes his son would one day run and operate it . I can honestly say the pizza we ordered was probably one of the best we have had so far in Kamloops. He didn't shorten any of the pizza ingredients at all . Loads of cheese toppings and delicious suce which every successful pizza requires. Not only do they have pizza but subs , chicken wings , cheese sticks, and much more. The ingredients he uses are fresh and well distributed around the pizza. We enjoyed the flavors with every bite. 😋 the crust is homemade and perfect. We are now just going to this place and have already told our friends and family about it. I hope to go back soon and try something else on the menu. You can definitely tell some of these reviews are from friends or family of the workers here as they use a lot of the same descriptive buzzwords.

Pizza Now in no way is "bad" pizza, it's actually quite good, but it's essentially Domino's that you are paying twice the price for. The toppings look like they come from the same distributor. The drive thru window is fairly slow and still has a Taco Time logo etched into the glass from years ago.

I think the biggest complaint, and the reason I won't be ordering from here again is this. $20.00 + tax for a "large" specialty pizza would normally be an average price, if not a little on the expensive side, but the "large" pizzas here are only 12" while literally every other place in Kamloops sells you a 14" large pizza. Very deceiving. The website should be updated to say they are selling Medium pizzas. This is False Advertising at its finest.

The owner responded to my review telling me they had only one size.. a large 12".. no.. you don't. You have a medium 12", like every other pizza place in town but you charge more for it because you are calling it a large. Stop. If your delivery fee is $2 less than everywhere else, but you are charging $8 more for a medium pizza, customers will still be out more money than...
