WHAT TO TRY?!

Their chimney cones!! All their cones come with the signature chimney cake that’s filled with vanilla soft serve ice cream. Then it’s topped with ingredients inside the cone as well as on top of the ice cream. All the ingredients seem like a good choice for the chimney cone!

There’s different cone flavors too if you want to try other flavors. I had tried the dream cone. Fitting for foodies who are chocolate lovers. You got the Nutella drizzle too and the brownie bites. My favorite part of the chimney cone is indeed the cone though or the chimney cake as they call it! Too bad they don’t have different flavoured ice cream. That would have been super chocolatey if I can put chocolate soft serve ice cream instead of the vanilla ice cream. A cone is enough for one person if you really have a sweet tooth or shared with two to three ppl!

I also liked the fact that there’s many different toppings and sauce drizzles to choose from. You can also custom build your own cone to make it really personal!

LAST TIP?!

The cone has another layer of toppings within the cone so don’t be disappointed after eating all the toppings on top because there’s more inside the cone! Also eating the chimney cake can get messy if you start ripping the cake pieces apart so I suggest you just bite into it! Lastly, there’s a surprise chocolate ball at the end of the cone to finish your dessert! Yummy! Don’t forget to check out their special cone for the month! It changes every month so it might be an arrangement of toppings you’ll like...

Ive ordered Eva's original chimneys in the past and haven't had a problem. I'm someone who's anaphylactic to dairy and I can die if I have it. I usually order the apple caramel cone, tell them about my dairy allergy and ask them to clean the machine, change their gloves and be careful. I don't even waiting for them to do other orders that come after before mine, as I understand my allergy can be a bit of a pain.

Yesterday, I went and saw they had a new Oreo flavor with a vegan option so I decided to try it. I did my original spiel and told them to please be careful as I have a dairy allergy and that I can die. The guy who took my order said don't worry it's fine. The first thing I notice on my receipt that it said "vegan, sanitize machine". I'm not vegan, I had just told the guy I was allergic to dairy and could die, these are two totally different things. I felt a little worried so when I grabbed my order from the female employee, I verified again that it was dairy free because I'm allergic to dairy, and she just brushed me off, almost annoyed saying yeah, yeah.

Well, needless to say, I ended up spending my night in the ER because clearly the right precautions weren't taken and I got an allergic reaction almost instantly. I won't be ordering here again, and I suggest anyone with an allergy do the same. I've also learned my lesson, and I shouldn't have tried to have been so polite about when the employees didn't...

Meaning to take my kid to this place after hearing that it opened in Square One. When we were done shopping thought of taking her at Eva’s. As soon as I walked towards the store, we noticed quite a few folks had a chimney in their possession.

Not a long line up, but busy and surprisingly they were serving them quite quickly. Stood in the line and noticed that almost 80% of the menu could be veganized - which was a pleasant shock to me. Having gone there to pickup one for the kid, picked up a mini vegan for me as well.

An OG mini for me and the Dream Cone with brownies for the kid. The order was quickly served. The mini was actually quite amazing. The softee was smooth and creamy and just enough sweet. There was a slight after taste in the softee, but nothing drastic. The cone was perfectly baked. The outside was crusty and cinnamons and again not too sweet. Not sure if the softee that melted inside the cone or was it under baked, but I felt a soft doughy consistency inside. The strawberry didn’t do anything however it was fresh on top and one at the bottom of the cone to prevent the leaking of softee - a neat idea.

The other cone was devoured in a few minutes and it was agreed that the item was a hit. Loved the softee ice cream and the cone. The brownie was the cherry on top.

Would definitely come back again and try other flavours. A brownie point to the owners to...

Eva's is a cute little ice cream shop located on the outskirts of town. From the moment you step inside, the delicious aroma of freshly-made waffle cones fills the air. The unique thing about Eva's is that they offer a cinnamon roll cone, which is absolutely tasty. The cone was sweet and crispy and made the perfect vessel to hold the creamy ice cream flavors. While I loved the cinnamon roll cone, I found the ice cream itself quite underwhelming. The flavors were okay, but there wasn't anything extraordinary about them. The ice cream did not pack the punch I was expecting based on the ‘wow factor’ of the bold cinnamon roll cone. Moreover, the service at Eva's is satisfactory. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to recommend flavors to suit my taste buds. The seating area is limited, however, they have ample space outside if you'd like to sit and enjoy your ice cream while basking in the sunlight. Overall, Eva's is definitely worth checking out for their unique cinnamon roll cones. I would give it a solid four stars for that alone. However, for the price and quality of the ice cream, I would hope for more flavor options to choose from rather than just relying on the spicy cinnamon roll cone to elevate the experience.
