I was going to forget review but so many times we have been here and the portions are Tiny. I decided to finally do a review. The Kung Pao Chicken varies. Sometimes good, sometimes not. My bf goes here to order the sweet and sour stuff. Because he is a short guy, they give him hardly any food. He gets either three entree or two. If you order noodle, they give alot of noodle, but if you order fried rice, they give you less ( Edit: now they give more rice) They basically give you not much rice and hardly any entree. Even if you order three items. The last time he went, his third entree was Kung pao, and they literally gave him two teaspoons. If you go to Mandarin, they give you four times the amount. Both places about 13 or 15......15 after tax. But u might pay 3.99 for white rice at Mandarin, but at least you can get huge entree (at Mandarin u will not starve like Panda.. . .I believe lunch buffet is 25.99). I might change my review of next time my bf gets three entree, and they give him enough so he is not starving. Edit: I recently went Panda to get bf his sweet, sour stuff. They are not as stingy as they used to be, but not great. The stuff looked good, but you have to ask him about the taste. He mention last time the Bejing Beef tasted like ketchup so I did not give him that. The guy gave me Ok quantity ( not great). He was not stingy with rice ( Ok portion) but when he put chicken seem stingy but at least the second portion he seem to give more. Since they were not too stingy, I decided to get Kung Pao (third item) to get a full meal. Even tho quick, he handed it off to the girl. She tried to be stingy again by not filling the tiny box. So I said, can you please fill the box. She did it reluctantly. So basically they are still stingy or cheap and try to give you less ( even if you order 3 item for 14 bucks ( 16 bucks with tax)) but the food quality is sometimes good. I only tried the kung pao this time and it was decent. They have the nerve to ask for donation (sick kids?) after they try to cheap out on quantity. I think to myself " As long as we dont starve from stingy quantity" then I might consider being not so cheap. Just to mention, I went to Burrito Bar for my burrito because I did not want to starve, and they are not cheap there ( they give you more food at Bar Burrito so you dont have to starve...
Read moreThe manager Jessie is the rudest most unprofessional person I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with in all of my years of dining out. I ordered a plate with steamed rice, beef, and broccoli and Kung pow chicken I paid for my food and my family’s food. We sat down to eat. I took one bite of my beef and then a bite of one piece of broccoli and I was absolutely disgusted. I immediately brought it to the staff’s attention. Jesse. The manager proceeded to taste. The beef and broccoli had another staff. Member taste the beef and broccoli to tell me that the recipe is always the same and it’s not her problem or panda expresses problem if I don’t like the beef and broccoli she then told me there was nothing she could do. She wouldn’t replace just the beef and broccoli as I had requested And she would not give me a refund. She was rude disrespectful and absolutely unprofessional. I always order the beef and broccoli and Kung pow chicken. I’ve been a customer at the heartland Mavis Road panda express location since it opened and I’ve never experienced bad beef and broccoli before instead of being helpful and accommodating like any other restaurant I’ve ever been to even if I go to McDonald’s and I have an issue, they’ll replace my meal or replace whatever didn’t taste right if I go to the grocery store and buy a carton of milk and it’s no good and I’ll bring it back to the store, they’ll replace it for me. That’s called customer service I paid for my food. I wasn’t trying to get a free meal or cause a problem I was trying to have dinner with my family. I am absolutely disgusted. She should be fired. This is my full Paid for plate of food. She told me I already ate my food and she wasn’t going to do anything not her problem I didn’t like the beef and broccoli. The beef tasted sour. Whatever sauce was used was spoiled. If I treated my loyal paying customers this way I would be out of business....
Read morePlaced an order online through the Panda Express website. I ordered 2 Bigger plates and 4 regular plate. Drove there myself to pick up the order. Once I got back to work we noticed that 2 of the orders were shorted. The order website stated for us to call the location with issues with orders. I called and explained my situation. They directed me to a manager. She stated that whoever packed my order did everything right and that was not the case. They had the stickers on there with no actual little boxes. All I wanted was the difference returned for the error. The manager tried to gaslight me saying that an Uber driver picked up and if I had an issue to go through with Uber Eats. I had to explain to her that I was the one who drove there and picked up the order. Then she tried to tell me that I have to go through corporate to get this resolved. So I asked for Corporates number and she refused. I asked for the managers name and she refused. I don't understand why this person is working in customer service if they are not willing to assist when they messed up. I will be bringing this to Tiktok if this does not get resolved Heartland Panda Express.
Edit: Turns out the person I was speaking to prior was the assistant manager. That person should not be working in customer service if they don't know how to handle people and their issues. I will not name drop them. I will say the actual manager was lovely and able to resolve my issue when I called back. I don't know why the assistant manager felt the need to do all that when they could've just did what I requested...
