When I called around 11:40am yesterday to ask about our reservation for 7:00PM, I was told they are closing the restaurant early for employee appreciation night, but we could stay till 9:00pm. I mentioned on phone we are celebrating my brother's birthday and also told the person who brought us to our table. The waitress asked if we had any allergies and my mom said she is allergic to almonds. We started with the calamari fritti and spinach and artichoke dip, which were delicious. For dinner we ordered spaghetti and meatballs, chicken parmesan, roasted mushrooms and gnocchi truffle and added chicken and pesto pollo penne, which were also good. When waitress brought our dinner, she knocked over a glass of water and water went all over my side of the table and down the side of my leg. Waitress said sorry, but I think she should have offered a little something for making this mess. My brother's chicken gnocchi did not look like it had extra chicken on it, which costs an extra $7.99, on top of dinner price of $27.62. Around 7:50pm my brother (who's birthday we were celebrating) asked for a refill for his coffee and waitress said "oh we don't have anymore coffee because the kitchen closes at 8:00pm, but we can make you an Americano or latte for an additional charge". My brother was disappointed and just asked for water. It would of been nice to be told at the beginning that kitchen was closing at 8:00pm. The waitress asked what desserts we wanted and we had to remind her it's my brother's birthday, so he will have the birthday dessert. Waitress said the birthday dessert is the chocolate cake with whip cream on it, but doesn't have the ice cream on it and doesn't look as fancy as the chocolate cake on menu. My dad ordered the cheese cake and my mother and I ordered the hazelnut chocolate cake. When waitress brought my brother's cake, there was a sparkler in it. She gave my brother his cake and said "here you go". Waitress did not say happy birthday and just walked away, as we started singing Happy Birthday to my brother. Later when waitress gave our desserts my mom started eating the cake and then waitress was like "wait there might be almonds in that". Waitress took my mom's plate and went to kitchen to ask. We started to worry because my mom just ate some of the chopped nuts on the plate. Then she came back and gave my mom her dessert, ice cream was melting down side of cake. The waitress said "there is no almonds in the dessert, "I just wanted to make sure because I saw the nuts on the plate". Although the hazelnut chocolate cake was presented beautifully on plate, the actual cake itself was very dry. The cake was so dry we had to try to mix the ice cream with it, to swallow it. We didn't bother telling the waitress, that all 3 of our chocolate cakes were really dry, as she told us the kitchen was closed at 8:00pm. So I would advise everyone not to get the hazelnut chocolate cake. I have to say this is worst dessert I ever had from a restaurant. The atmosphere of restaurant was nice, but one negative thing is where they store the clean plates and glasses, which makes restaurant look a little tacky. They store clean dishes on top of the dividers in-between some of the booths, just above eye level. The overall experience put a damper on my brother's Birthday dinner, as we had to hurry and finish our meal by 8:00pm, instead of 9:00pm. Management contacted me in a timely manner and apologized for our experience. Management invited us back to the restaurant. I will post an updated review, once I dine here again.

For our anniversary this year, we decided to treat ourselves to a dinner at Scaddabush . We already heard rave reviews about their authentic Italian cuisine, we made a reservation for the evening. Scaddabush did not disappoint at all. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The radio played in the background, the low lighting was calming, and the subtle smell of cheese and garlic was tempting. We were greeted by friendly staff who promptly seated us at a cozy table . Our server Eric was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He patiently explained the specials and offered recommendations based on our preferences. In addition ,we opted for the appetizer and drinks. The truffle cheese bread was simple yet divine, with fresh tomatoes, fragrant basil, and a generous drizzle of olive oil on perfectly toasted bread with marinara sauce was delightful . For the main course, The pillowy gnocchi were cooked to perfection and bathed in a creamy gorgonzola sauce that was rich and decadent without being overpowering. We had the sauteed Shrimp with the herb marinated chicken spaghetti . The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the accompanying risotto was perfectly cooked and bursting with cheesy goodness. Knowing it was our anniversary, Eric surprised us with a complimentary dessert platter. It featured a slice of their signature tiramisu, a scoop of their homemade limoncello gelato, and a couple of delectable biscotti, the perfect way to end a truly special meal. Scaddabush exceeded our expectations. The food was exceptional, the service was impeccable, and the ambiance was perfect for all occasions. They made our anniversary dinner a night to remember, and we will definitely be returning for another special occasion soon.

Scaddabush is an absolute gem, and my recent dining experience there was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting, with its warm and welcoming atmosphere. However, what truly set this dining experience apart was the outstanding service provided by waitress Victoria. Victoria's attention to detail and genuine warmth elevated the entire dining experience. She greeted us with a smile and promptly guided us through the menu, offering insightful recommendations tailored to our preferences. Her knowledge of the dishes was impressive, and her passion for the cuisine was evident in her enthusiastic descriptions. Throughout the meal, Victoria demonstrated impeccable timing, ensuring that our orders were delivered promptly and that we never felt rushed. She checked in with us regularly to ensure everything was to our satisfaction, going above and beyond to accommodate any requests we had. In addition to Victoria's exceptional service, the food at Scaddabush was simply divine. Each dish was crafted with care, bursting with flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. From the indulgent pasta dishes to the mouthwatering appetizers and desserts, every bite was a delight to the senses. Overall, my experience at Scaddabush was nothing short of memorable, thanks in large part to the outstanding service provided by Victoria. Her professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality truly made the evening unforgettable. I highly recommend Scaddabush to anyone looking for a culinary experience that exceeds expectations, and be sure to ask for Victoria to take your dining experience to the next level.

Overall it was a mediocre experience at the Scaddabush Square One location. Our server was excellent just the food could be better. We came on a Friday night. The place was packed. Luckily we made reservations in advance. We ordered their house made mozzarella prosciutto, it was a bit too tough and chewy for my liking. We also ordered the goat cheese and beet salad to share, which I enjoyed. It came with arugula and green apples and walnuts. It was a good refreshing salad. We also ordered their homemade pasta, the vongole and the ravioli. I had the vongolo and firstly the clams was too tiny I cab barely taste them. The pasta was too thick for this pasta or I was just so used to the typical vongole with the thiner noodles that this bacon version threw me off a little. It was a very filling dish tho, and there's a strong bacon flavor, so for folks who love bacon this is a great pasta to have. It is flavorful nonetheless regardless of the pasta and the clams. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate hazelnut cake that paired with pistachio gelato. The cake has a crunch on the outside and soft inside. It isn't a molten cake tho, but it was served slightly warm. Again I guess the cake was similar to a molten cake but not that it gave off this in-between experience. I rather it's a straight off chocolate cake or a molten cake, not in-between. The inside was a little crumbly as well so all in all it didn't live up to my expectations of a good chocolate cake. I left a little disappointed because I had a better good experience at their other location.

Raising from 2 to 5 stars. I gave this place another try and this time the experience was completely different. I had a reservation for Saturday 7:30pm. Once I arrived with my family we got the table right away. Our waitress was very attentive coming several times to find out how we were doing and if there was something else we wanted. He was doing that not only with us but also with other tables around us. The music volume had a level which allows maintaining a conversation. The appetizers and main courses were brought within a reasonable time. The food was good. Will come back again. First review: I ended up here because the waiting time for the place I wanted was too long and this was showing no waiting list. Once we arrived we were told that the waiting time was 20 minutes. I decided to wait. This was on Sunday night 8pm. After the informed 20 minutes, we got our table. Shortly after the waitress came and we ordered the drinks and started looking at the menu. The drinks came in and we placed our order for the appetizer and entrees. The Naked Mozzarella and a tomatoes soup came in relatively quick but the other plates came in 40 minutes later. The music level was too high added to the regular noise of other customers. People on tables around us left and the tables were not cleaned. The food was good but the service was almost inexistent. I am very disappointed as I had as reference other Scaddabush locations were the experience has been different.

I had an amazing experience here last weekend. I would recommend to book a table before you going to avoid any line ups tho. Food was good as always, the food came quiet fast and my server was super nice too UPDATED: went to this scaddabush location a few times and i never experience anything like this before, but last wednesday i decided to go there to celebrate my graduation with my family, and in the end my parents want to pay for everyone on the table and i only checked out the bill there to see if the tip was already there or not, but when i got home i was reviewing how much they paid and i realized that we overpaid for a dish we did not even asked for. PLUS they offer to bring a cake to celebrate my graduation and we had to pay for that too. Which is the first time i go to a place and they bring a cake and we have to actually pay for it. I asked about this to waiter after i called to request after to talk with the manager after an overpaid bill and the server explained we have to pay for the cakes there even if we dont ask for it and the server brings it. First place i go when we go with a group and the cake is not on the house. (Which would be fine paying for it, but would be nice a heads up). Food is still amazing but since the customer service is bad now, after i called a few times explained the situation and left my info for the manager call and after a few days nothing still here my honest review.
