This roadside diner has been a staple of Mississauga for 40 years, and hasn't changed much in all that time. The city grew around it, and from being a remote spot in the outskirts of Cooksville, it found itself in the middle of the Square One development sprawl, and perhaps soon to be replaced by another condo high-rise.
With windows on three sides, the place is well lit and not too noisy. The menu is the same as always, covering the standards, from American breakfast staples to burgers, wings, gyros and souvlaki. You probably won't go there for a steak dinner, but at 2 a.m., it's the only game in town.
The short order cook has been doing his job for decades, and does it well. Quality is consistent, and you won't wait long for your order. Don't look for gluten-free or "Paleo" items; this place doesn't change its menu to suit the latest food fad. There's no free Wi-Fi, but you're welcome to borrow a copy of today's newspaper from the tray stand in the middle.
They offer a handful of domestic bottled beers, which is more than you'd expect from a counter-serve diner open 20 hours a day. Prices are also a throwback to earlier times, with the all-day breakfast for under $7, souvlaki in pita for $6, and steak on a bun combo for $10, including fries and pop. I doubt you'd find any other place in the area where you can sit down for a decent meal, including a bottle of beer, for under $15.
There are always parking spots available, and all Highway 10 buses have a stop...

We ordered 2 omelettes for delivery. Delivery was quick. We get the food and I open my omelettes which I had added cheese. As you can see, it was not cheese, it was the processed cheese wizz stuff or singles sometimes use in burgers. I have never in my life seen an omelette used with cheese wiz/processed cheese. At least specify if you don't have any other cheese at hand. I cannot eat that kind of cheese due to stomach issues & I usually specify that when ordering a burger or nachos, but would never expect to be faced with such when ordering an omelette.
That is just one small part of it but my friend ordered a western omelette which was dry and inedible. We were going to at least eat the potatoes, but as you can see had tons of burnt parts, part mashed, I can literally taste and see the oil.. had to spit out.
When I called to tell them about the cheese at first, the lady kept saying "your phone is cutting" while she yells with the people in the back, then she said "ok so you had cheese or no?" I said yes but you guys used fake cheese on an omelette..
Her reply is "well you have cheese on it that's enough" "can u call back when your phone is better thanks bye"
This has got to be the worst food experience thus far, from the food quality/taste to the customer service and professionalism....

I came here around 2am with my amigos and it was a unique experience. Probably not for everybody, but it wasn't TOO much like the scary shady diner you'd expect in the dead of night... okay, it was kinda shady and I thought that someone was going to start a fight at any point. The questionable cleanliness all around might've also added to the shady feel. If you're a germaphobe, maybe consider doing takeout and eat somewhere more comforting.
The food was pretty good, considering the time. I feel like I was charged a bit more than quality it was worth, but then again the hour is also a factor. (I wouldn't expect top notch food at 2am where most people can't pronounce their words correctly. I was 100% too sober for the experience.) I finished my food feeling full. If I remember correctly, I might've even struggled with finishing it. 8/10 for quantity 👌🏼
Would highly recommend visiting in the morning instead. Reckon it'd be a finer experience (I've never tried). But go there at night if you wanna feel a...
