I am a regular at this place. And have been putting off writing a review for a while. Because I always thought I’d give it another try. I have to say if you are not friendly at least make me a good capuccino. I’m sorry I don’t know the names but literally the man who works there who always wears a hoody is the only friendly person, and he is the only one who should be allowed to make coffee. He actually puts an effort. The lady that is working there today, I dread when she makes my capuccino. First the cup is not even filled . The foam is wrong and she just throws the milk in there without any good method/barista technique . Complaining is not my thing but the ladies that work there do not like/know how to make coffee nor are they ever friendly . Kinda sad experience when you just want a pick me up nice cup of capuccino. See pic attached and judge for yourself if this is worth $6.50 i recommend only if the guy is making the coffeee Revised : October 2025 I’m glad the other lady doesn’t work there anymore :D Katy is the best at making coffee ! Not only she is super friendly and cool but she is a pro at making cappuccinos etc :) and also the other two guys there are super nice as well .

So maybe the price isn’t why you’d purchase a “coffee-on-the-go” from this quaint little spot, but what YOU DO GET is great quality coffee, friendly smiles, and a cute little reminder on your cup... What more could one want right before, during, or after a busy day at the office. ☕️

Great little coffee shop - insanely hard to find and is a few levels underground right above the metro line Finding the place is hard but coffee is excellent and the dark chocolate mocha is high quality

I've chased third-wave coffee all over Montreal (and worldwide) and this rubs shoulders with some of the best; particularly surprising given the unassuming location, but that's particularly fun.

Solid coffee is key to the rating but bonus points go to the baristas for very quickly remembering my previous orders and managing to keep the line moving in spite of constant flow.

For coffee nerds like myself, Phil & Sebastian espresso was on offer; shots were pulled from a La Marzocco machine and there were a couple of issues of a barista magazine sitting on the counter for people to read if they've ordered their drink 'for here'.

All in all a gem and easily a go-to place for...

Hands down the best coffee shop in Montréal. They sell third-wave specialty coffee, with a different coffee every few months, so you can expect quality uniquely tasting drinks with a nice surprise as they move on to new bags. When they're not in rush hours, you get to have a nice homely moment with the barista; and some great recommendations for your home stash as well!

I wish they'd have lactose-free milk, as I find other alternatives to be too aggressive in taste, which can often hide notes from those fragrant coffees. But maybe that's a good thing, cause I'd spend way too much in that...
