I have lived downtown niagara falls for approx. 15yrs now. I've shopped at big bee corner of morrison and Victoria many times. I've never had any problems before. Since new owners the aren't overly pleasant people to me but the last owners were. Tonight anout 11pm I had the most uncomfortable, embarrassing and rude drama happen to me. I seriously got accused of staying a chocolate bar. He ran outside after me yelling and grabbing at the money I had in my hand. Here is what happened. I asked if he has change. I need a $10 bill from a $20. I asked him if I could get change with another $20 I had. He said no he's got no change. I grabbed a large chocolate bar and 2 lighters. It came to $11.48 . I said ok I'll put the chocolate bar back and just buy the lighters. He obviously wanted me to buy the bar because it's ok I'll make it even $10. So I said great thank you. I took the lighters chocolate bar and left. That's, when he came flying out and accused me of stealing the chocolate bar. I said how did I steal that chocolate bar? You only gave me $10 back from a $20. That means you stole $4 from me than. back up to when I walked back in store. There were 3 people waiting at counter by than. The first guy looked at me and said "you stole the chocolate bar i said i didn't steal no damn chocolate bar. He trying to steal from me. They have so many people faces on their front door that are "thieves" and aren't allowed back in the store. Maybe it's time the public is educated on what they're like they try to steal from customers. I'm 56 yrs old. A bloody chocolate bar???? Don't shop there. ...
Read moreI’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this store. My friends and I visited last night at 10 PM, and the staff’s behavior was unacceptable. There were two employees working at the time who refused to accept our credit card for tap payments. This was surprising and suspicious, as every store in Canada, including this one, typically accepts tap payments. What makes this situation worse is that earlier in the day, we successfully used tap to make a purchase at the same store. However, after the staff shift changed, the new employees refused to honor this payment method. The attitude and manner in which they spoke to us were highly unprofessional and rude. We have been regular customers of this store, but this experience has made it clear that we won’t be returning. Insteadhe sends them to the wrong number and changedfor it. Then, in the morning, I phone the lawyer to find out she never got it. So go back then they charge me again for his mistake nice people.
