We came to the Niagara area for a short vacation and after about 30 minutes of searching and reading reviews for a restaurant for our final dinner, I chose Kaashi based on the positive recent and overall reviews about food. It was my wife’s birthday a couple of days prior but my plans to get a cake had failed two days in a row so I had to come up with something so I made the reservation online and had let them know it was her birthday. We showed up about 10 minutes early and they greeted us at the door and welcomed us to our table immediately. It was 8:05 but the dining room was rather empty, not a good sign. We were seated and greeted by an enthusiastic and professional server who really knew what he was doing. He clearly had an agenda to sell us food and drinks but did it in such a helpful and pleasant way that I really didn’t mind at all. He suggested appetizers and before I could read the list of appetizers, he suggested their fish dish that we could all share. A quick glance at the appetizer section told me that it was off menu and I knew that I would pay for it but I didn’t ask how much it was because I just felt like going with it. The whole night went very nicely as the whole staff was professional and attentive. During our dining, more people came in though it was not even close to capacity, It was after all a Thursday night. I ordered chicken Korma, butter chicken and lamb biryani with a side of rice and garlic naan and tandoori roti. Let me tell you, the food was terrific. I might not be the authority on Indian cuisine, but I do know food and I have had my share of Indian food in various places in my neck of the woods and this restaurant was exceptional. The spices and fresh ginger really shined through especially on the Korma and my kids who are generally fairly picky eaters couldn’t get enough. The meats were tender and the curries were extremely flavorful. The server did his best to tactfully upsell and I took him up where it was warranted and he didn’t push beyond that, very professional. At the end of the meal, they didn’t forget to bring out the wonderful piece of mango cheese cake on a special birthday plate. I was grateful that they took such good care of us. On a side note, I noticed that in the bathroom, they used Volga Blue granite on their sink countertop. This is a very exotic granite which is rather expensive. I can tell that they took quite a bit of pride in putting the restaurant together. From the food to the service to the beautiful stone selection just for the bathroom, I felt that I just dined in a restaurant that really strives for excellence. I would absolutely visit again the next time I’m in town and recommend this restaurant to anyone who’s thinking about going here. There’s no way that you’d be disappointed. As someone who spent their formative years working in restaurants I do not dole out this kind of praise for...

This is our first time at this location. Very pleasant ambiance, staff are friendly. Each table is very cosy and comfortable. Food was freshly made and tasty. They also have great selection of veg and non vegetarian dishes.
Found this hidden gem that surprisingly was not busy on a Saturday evening.
We were driving by looking for a good spot to have our dinner and sported this restaurant so we decided to check it out. It’s was really worth it. It was not to busy as well.
I love the way they serve their plates hot and they used napkins to serve the plates. So plates are not handled by bare hands. Very very hygienic and keep your food warm and makes the whole experience memorable.
They are also using good quality cutlery which complements the whole food experience. Love the simplicity of the dinnerware that’s used to serve the food.
Love the simple and elegant presentation of the food. Love the stamps on the Naan 🫓
Our server was friendly and attentive. We ordered Tandoori Chicken, Butter chicken, Shrimp Briyani Naan and Vegetables Pakoras. All the dishes we so delicious! Meat was tender & so flavourful.
Naan was so crispy and delicious. Veggie pakoras wore crispy and delightful.
Portions were a little smaller then we'd hoped, but overall a great experience and we would be back.
Over all restaurant and restrooms are super clean.

Read moreAfter a scenic drive from Toronto to Niagara, my boyfriend and I stumbled upon a true gem: KAASHI Indian Cuisine. Despite glowing reviews, we were surprised to find the restaurant practically empty on a Friday night, but little did we know, we were in for an unforgettable dining experience.
With the place all to ourselves, a booth in front of the city street, we wasted no time in ordering our favourites: butter chicken, biryani with raita, and a complimentary side of naan. The butter chicken boasted a creamy texture and perfectly cooked chicken that left us craving more with each mouthful. The biryani was a symphony of flavours, each grain of rice infused with fragrant spices that danced on our taste buds. And let's not forget the raita, a refreshing companion that perfectly balanced the richness of the biryani.
In fact, the meal was so delectable that we found ourselves ordering another plate of naan just to mop up every last bit of the butter chicken goodness. And with impeccable service, courtesy of the attentive staff who catered to our every need, our dining experience was nothing short of perfection.
In conclusion, Niagara Indian Food is a culinary oasis that deserves all the accolades it receives. With delicious dishes, impeccable service, and a cosy ambiance, it's a definite 4.5 out of 5 stars from us. Whether you're a local or just passing through, do yourself a favour and pay them a visit — you won't be...
