Went with my family. Sign says $6, it does not indicate per person. Went with 2 young toddlers and 2 adults. Cats were mostly sleeping, so for a half hour they played with the cat toys and didn’t get to interact with the cats much. Whatever, cats are cats, we don’t expect them to play with us because we want them to. Go to pay, and the lady says $27… Then when we said it said $6, she said it was per person. Not one single person told us it was per person. Not when we came in to check it out and book a spot for a later time, not when we were sitting waiting for 15 minutes to go in to interact with the cats. not when she came over to sign the waiver, and not when they let us into the room. It did not say anywhere it was $6 per person. The two older ladies working were so incredibly rude and belittling, saying that it’s common sense and you go anywhere and you expect to pay per person. (Actually, anywhere that charges per person indicates that). They were just so incredibly rude and demeaning, making it out to be our responsibility to ask, when it’s their job as a business to indicate the stipulation to their prices. They had several opportunities to do so. We would not have gone today if we had known it was $6 per person, because quite frankly, we cannot afford to spend $27 for my kids to stare at cats, but we will definitely not be going back due to how absolutely rude and condescending the staff was. So disappointed and honestly just gross...
Read moreWhat a lovely place to visit! This was our first stop for our weekend trip to Niagara and definitely set things off on a positive note. The cats are so friendly and playful and there’s lots of toys to play and interact with them. The cat room is pretty small but they don’t seem to allow many people in at a time. Most I saw was 7 people. The food was also delicious! We had the mac n cheese sampler and the spinach dip, both were full of flavour and filled us up. I also want to give a big thank you to the hostess/waitress. She really goes above and beyond to ensure you have a good experience. There were some pretty rowdy kids in which was disruptive to the space. She recognized we weren’t having a good time while we were there and offered to split our time since the kids were leaving in just a few minutes. She also seemed a bit frustrated with this family but approached them with so much kindness and patience. She also noticed that I was seeking a more cuddly cat to hang out with. She knew there was one napping in the back room that loves cuddles, so scooped her up to give me some cuddle time with the precious kitty. Thank you for a great...
Read moreI was so excited for this place to open and it did NOT disappoint! Came here for the 2nd time today and I’m already planning on going again later in the week.. It’s such a cozy and relaxing space, and all of the menu items I’ve tried have been great so far. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the portion sizes. I also appreciate how much variety there is as a vegetarian.. And the two ladies running the place are the sweetest! I love cats so much, I’m even happy to just chill and pet the kittens while they’re sleepy—but I was surprised to find that they were more energetic when I went around 6-7PM as opposed to 2PM. I would’ve assumed they’d be more lively earlier in the day, but maybe it’s just by chance. The cats are all so adorable and friendly, although sometimes it’s a bit hard to play with them when there’s other people in the room at the same time. Some of them like to hide under the sofa or retreat to the employees-only area as well, so you kind of just have to sit there and wait for your turn when there’s too many people (I believe 6 is the max). Bit of a bummer when you have a...
