Ordered a takeout on their website at 5:40 pm. The initial estimate was 6:10 pm which is a reasonable wait time. However, soon after I received an email saying that the pickup is delayed to 6:30 pm. I called them to check why it’s taking them 50 min to prepare one paneer butter masala and one garlic naan. The girl I first spoke to said that it was because they need to heat the tandoor oven and it takes time. I understood and said if that’s the case, I’d like to cancel the order because I needed something quicker. A man quickly took over the phone and said that the food will be done in 10 minutes. I had my doubts about it now. I got a call at 6 pm that my food was ready. When I picked up the food, I asked them what happened with the delivery time that they kept switching and the man said he wasn’t sure what happened but I had a hunch that the food wasn’t fresh. Soon I got home and took the first bite of naan to know that it was frozen naan hastily heated up. The curry was mediocre and I’m not sure about the freshness of it either. Really bad experience at the place. Went with a couple of friends. Air conditioner was not working before. The ambience is abhorrent, with sticky tables.

This would have been acceptable if the food would have tasted any good. We ordered samosa chat and tikka chat and both tasted as if undercooked. Main course was tasteless. We ordered paneer tikka masala and yellow dal tadka. Paneer tikka masala was just raw( un cooked, not even sautéed) paneer cubes in tomato purée. Dal had NO tadka and no salt. The breads were okay.

To top it all, the service was what made the day even worse for us. We asked for lemon and free chilli’s on the side. First, the waitress did not care to bring it till we were done half way through food. Then we literally had to shout out to call her and ask for the lemon and chilli. Lo and behold, we get 3 slim slices of lemon(totally not usable for even 1 person) and some sliced onions. NO CHILLI. We reminded about the chilli and did not get it till we paid the bill.
