I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rutba Modern Indian Restaurant, and it was an absolutely delightful experience that deserves high praise! My partner and I ordered the butter chicken and kadai paneer, and both dishes were a vibrant celebration of authentic Indian flavors that left us craving more. The butter chicken was a standout—rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced with a velvety tomato-based sauce that enveloped tender, juicy pieces of chicken. Each bite was a harmonious blend of warmth and comfort, with just the right balance of buttery richness and subtle tanginess. The kadai paneer was equally impressive, bursting with bold, authentic flavors. The paneer was soft yet perfectly textured, cooked in a fragrant medley of spices, bell peppers, and onions that delivered a delightful kick without overwhelming the palate. Both dishes showcased the chef’s mastery in crafting vibrant, authentic Indian cuisine that felt like a warm hug from tradition. Beyond the incredible food, the customer service at Rutba was exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with genuine warmth and attentiveness. Our server was knowledgeable, offering thoughtful recommendations and ensuring our needs were met with a smile. The atmosphere was inviting, with a modern yet cozy vibe that made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Rutba Modern Indian Restaurant truly excels in delivering authentic, rich flavors paired with outstanding hospitality. It’s a gem for anyone seeking a memorable Indian dining experience. We can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu! Highly...
Read moreI had the pleasure of visiting Rutba Restaurant in Niagara Falls, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The restaurant has a beautiful dark, cozy ambiance that feels both modern and welcoming — perfect for enjoying a night out with friends or family. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and made us feel comfortable right away.
We ordered a mix of dishes including pasta, kadhai paneer with garlic naan, and stuffed makhmali paneer tikka, along with some drinks. Every single dish was exceptional. The pasta was creamy and rich, the kadhai paneer had the perfect balance of spices that paired so well with the soft garlic naan, and the makhmali paneer tikka was just amazing — soft, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The presentation of the food was equally impressive, and you could tell a lot of effort went into every detail.
What stood out most was the combination of authentic taste, generous portions, and high-quality service. The drinks complemented the meal perfectly, and the overall dining experience was smooth and enjoyable.
Rutba is definitely a gem in Niagara Falls — whether you’re looking for authentic flavors, a warm atmosphere, or great hospitality, this place delivers it all. I’ll absolutely be visiting again and recommending it to...
Read moreI’m a sucker for high tea experience so when I saw that an Indian place opened up right in Niagara Falls with high tea platter at $25, I had to try it! I went in on a Sunday with a friend around 1 pm and was promptly seated. Thankfully no prior reservations were needed for the high tea so we decided to get one of those to share and a mushroom do pyaza with truffle butter naan. Sadly, the platter doesn’t actually come with tea and it needed to be ordered separately so we did. There was only one option - masala chai.
In addition to what’s indicated in the description of high tea platter, it also comes with hara bhara kebab, and we were so glad it did because that was the best item on the platter. The mushroom curry was decent and the truffle naan was tasty but the Indian spices are so dominant that you can barely taste the truffle when you eat them together. We had to take separate bites of the naan to really feel that truffle taste. The tea came at the very end but we would have preferred to have it with the platter. The service was prompt and courteous. The only thing I would change is include the tea with the high tea platter and adjust the price...
