Worst tim horton or restaurant I have ever been to. I wouldn’t even give one star to this restaurant, if possible. I went to this Tim Hortons tonight around 1135 pm. We went through drive thru and my husband was trying to give order. The staff who was taking order lost his patience and he randomly turned off his headset. When we called him again, he said can you order everything at once. Our whole family went there and everybody was getting different stuff, how’s it possible to order everything altogether. When we asked him why is he in rush to take order as we are still placing order he started arguing with us. We odered Iced capp with mocha flavor and he started saying Iced capp with chocolate syrup. We were not sure as they call mocha as a chocolate flavor. It doesn’t say on the menu board it’s chocolate flavor instead of mocha. We still agreed and didn’t said anything. The staff was so rude, he kept arguing and one of the staff girl had to interrupt and she asked us to drive ahead. When we arrived at the window to receive order, we asked the girl the name of the person who was taking order. The guy he came at the window and started arguing again. He was so rude and started swearing at my husband. He was like come outside, I’ll see you outside. Looks like he was drunk, on top of it the girl who was standing at the window also started supporting him instead of correcting him. She was like you were placing order. They should check their recording and see ho we were placing the order and they are no one to talk to us like that. When we asked their name, they said they are not supposed to give their name or any information to us. We asked for manager contact number, she even refused us to give info and said come back tomorrow at 11am to speak to manager and closed the window on us. Can someone explain to me how they were allowed to not having name tag on and refused to tell their names. I have worked in the restaurant as well for many years and have never treated anyone like that. I always kept my name tag on and if they were not wrong why were they hesitant to tell their names or hiding their names. We do not live around here and was here to visit Niagra falls, these staff ruined our visit and it’s hard for us to come back tomorrow to meet manager. I have never experienced this kind of customer service.I wouldn’t even give minus star to these horrible customer service and mannerless staff. I hope someone will look into this matter and teach their staff to how to provide good customer service and speak nicely to customers. If they do not have patience to take order, I don’t think tim hortons is the right place for them. On top of it swearing and threatening your customers to see them outside is not acceptable. I just came back from this Tim Hortons location & I made sure I would write a review regarding the horrible & dreadful incident as soon as I reached home. At 22:42 I placed my order and the total was $12.99 or $13 when paying by cash which I did. I gave the male cashier at the drive thru $24 a $20 and 2 toonies. He gave me back only $1. I then informed him I gave him $24 and he rudely exclaimed that I only gave him $15 when I only had 20s in my wallet. He then demanded I give him back the $1 and he gave me back 90 cents in change falsely claiming & lying that the order total was $13.10, so wouldn't I not get back $1.90 in change had I did indeed gave him $15 which he lied about and said they had cameras. I told him to go check the cameras & he said to me "Brother you only gave me $15, we have cameras and then he pulled out $15 from the cash register & claimed that is what I gave him. After a long 10 minutes sitting in the drive thru with several cars behind me a female manager came and gave me back $10 even though I was actually owed $11. This is totally unacceptable and I wasn't even given an apology from the male working the drive thru as he was nowhere to be seen after the female manager gave me back the $10 bill. I need to talk to management, this is totally unacceptable behaviour from this male employee working the drive thru and I'm fairly certain this has happened before to unknown customers who were not sure about how much change was to be given. Read moreVery HOT inside !! - Wifi is on and off so hard to connect. Otherwise good experience. Update: Has been about 2 months. The restaurant has gone down in quality of food, cleanliness has drastically gone down in the bathrooms, the areas where one sits and orders. Tables not cleared and cleaned during night until day staff come in. Not to sound rude or racist but the staff have friends that come in and stand around or sit on Tables and talk to staff or others without ordering and paying. They steal get food or drinks but with a wink 😉 here and there. They always laugh and talk about people of other colors. Know this because a few have mentioned it to us as they leave. Just to give us a heads up. There is one staff that talk fast, but types in the wrong order and has to redo it every time that I and others go in. But it is only certain people that she does it to. Then she asks for the money with out letting a person tap rewards card. Refuses to when asked. This location has definitely gone down in the past year. Is it under new ownership. Also. Had a couple friends apply but they couldn't. ( In short). But within a few days there were 3 new staff. All of the same race. Do they not hire any one else...
