As a frequent diner at Jack Astor's Kingston, I can confidently say that it has become one of my go-to spots for a fantastic dining experience. I have visited multiple times and have always had a wonderful time, whether it's with friends, classmates, or even family gatherings. One of the highlights of this restaurant is undoubtedly the rooftop patio, which adds an extra touch of enjoyment to the whole experience. The staff at Jack Astor's Kingston has consistently been friendly and accommodating. From the moment we walk in, we are greeted with smiles and a warm welcome. They make an effort to ensure that we have everything we need and are attentive to any special requests or dietary preferences we may have. Their cheerful and helpful demeanor adds to the overall positive atmosphere of the restaurant. One aspect I particularly appreciate about Jack Astor's Kingston is their wide selection of drinks. Whether you're in the mood for a refreshing cocktail, a craft beer, or even a mocktail, they have something to suit every taste. Their bartenders are skilled at mixing up delicious and creative concoctions that never fail to impress. It's always a treat to unwind and enjoy a well-crafted drink in the company of good friends or loved ones. Speaking of atmosphere, Jack Astor's Kingston has a vibrant and lively ambiance. The combination of modern decor, comfortable seating, and well-chosen music creates an energetic yet comfortable setting. It's a place where you can relax, have engaging conversations, and enjoy the company of those around you. The upbeat atmosphere is infectious and adds to the overall enjoyment of the dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food! Jack Astor's Kingston offers a diverse menu with a wide range of options to satisfy any craving. Whether you're in the mood for burgers, sandwiches, pasta, or salads, their menu has something for everyone. The food is consistently delicious, and the quality of ingredients shines through in every bite. From the perfectly cooked burgers to the flavorful pasta dishes, each item is prepared with care and attention to detail. The portion sizes are generous, ensuring that you leave feeling satisfied and content. And if you have any specific dietary restrictions or preferences, Jack Astor's Kingston is more than happy to accommodate them. They offer vegetarian and gluten-free options, making it a suitable choice for a diverse group of diners. In conclusion, I highly recommend Jack Astor's Kingston for a memorable dining experience. The rooftop patio, friendly staff, and great selection of drinks contribute to the overall enjoyment. The vibrant atmosphere and consistently delicious food make it an ideal spot to gather with friends, classmates, or family. Whether you're looking for a casual outing or a celebration, Jack Astor's Kingston is sure to deliver a fantastic time.

A wonder of the modern world has been discovered. Food without taste. Long have I always thought that the only Thing that was the worst thing to consume was spam. I was wrong!. My brother-in-law wanted Jack Asters for his birthday dinner so we decided to order in. I decided to go with the classic poutine and the cheeseburger with bacon. When I opened the little deceiving box of poutine, I was greeted with a glob of congealed fries Mashed together with cheese curd and arguably the smallest amount of gravy that I had ever experienced in a poutine, I have to assume that they applied the gravy with an eyedropper. Upon my first bite of the classic poutine, I was greeted with the same dislike that I had for a Wendy’s poutine or a swift kick in the balls. And yes, I actually did have a Wendy’s poutine, and I regretted it. If I was to close my eyes and take a spoonful of Wendy’s poutine, I would say this tastes exactly the same. The cheeseburger looks fantastic, double patty charbroiled with a fair amount of lettuce, a nice crisp piece of tomato and a few strips of bacon and to top it all off some nice cheese. Unfortunately that’s where the honeymoon ends. Upon the first two bites of the flavourless cheeseburger, I was left with the curious wonder of how the hell do they make food without any taste! I’m serious. I don’t understand it, there’s like no taste to this food. Absolutely none, well the poutine tasted like a Wendy’s poutine but we already covered that ball kicking experience. Anyway, there is no taste,I mean no taste to it whatsoever. The fries were so bland that water would have been a more delicious replacement they could at least have used a salt shaker and seasoned it up a little bit The burger I mean, they could’ve put some sauce on it like mayo or mustard or hell even horseradish or mayonnaise that’s been sitting out too long for three months-would’ve been better than nothing to create some sort of taste. The only positive that I can take away from this experiences is that every time that I say taste, my wife mimics me from across the room and says taste as well, which makes me laugh. I Will never order or go to their restaurant ever again!!! I would rather lineup and get that kick in the balls. I was talking about five minutes ago. i’m starting a new term that should be put up on the urban dictionary, it should be called Wallet raped, and the exclamation should be,when one purchases something that is so ridiculously poor in quality that they feel like their wallet has been taken, a large member has been inserted with 5 quarts of lube for liberation, two minutes of extreme love making commencing with the ultimate orgasm left inside while the money is spilled out on the floor. Yep, That’s how my wallet feels right now…. Thank you, Jack asters for wallet raping me. YEESH!

Today my husband and I elected to spend our 11th Wedding Anniversary in Kingston.....with our 3 kids in tow. We enjoyed an afternoon at Fort Henry then headed to our reservation at Jack Astor's. We arrived a bit early, but staff were on-the-ball and brought us up to our roof-top table pretty quickly. We were seated fairly centrally; just under the heaters and next to planters. Nice atmosphere as the sun began to set. Our server, Nicole C. was PHENOMENAL. She was efficient and friendly. She brought menus, drinks, starters, and entres promptly. She kept our glasses full and expertly tidied the table as dishes were complete. She did this all while attending her other tables with equal diligence. As a someone who served years ago, I tend to pay attention to how my server works. This woman was killing it. She made GREAT SERVICE look effortless. She glided throughout the roof-top dining area with grace and a smile. She was kind to everyone. Now on top of all this, she dealt with the chaos of my son's overreaction to the bees in the MOST PROFESSIONAL way possible. She was quick, compassionate and back to our table before I had pulled out polysporin and after-bite from my diaper bag for him. She had ice in hand and her manager (also impressively amazing at her job) by her side. I will admit my son's behavior was embarassing, but the diligence and compassion from staff altered the situation from one that would have been stares of pity and disgust, to an atmosphere of care, concern and assistance. They were Rockstars! They took it all in stride and handled it well. On top of being stellar at handling the chaos with all of the above mentioned, they also turned down the heaters that were above us really quickly. My husband and I were trying not to be "those people with kids", but honestly sitting under those heaters...we were sweating up a storm. When we asked if they could turn them down abit above us, Nicole C. Hopped into action and sorted it ASAP. I really can't say enough good things about the staff we encountered today. They are what all professionals in the serice industry should aspire to. We will definitely be back... both with and without kids. We have already raved to friends and family about the impressive service. Thank you for helping our family make memories and enjoy this last weekend before school...
