Went in to the store looking for winter sweaters on Sunday Sept. 30, 2018. Salesperson was at the cash desk and looked up but did not acknowledge me. I looked around the racks and shelves for 10 minutes and still not even a "may I help you" from the sales clerk. One other customer in the store at the time and she was being ignored also. I finally got fed up as I needed some help and went to the sales desk. I had decided I would leave and shop somewhere else where I could get some service. As I passed the sales desk I said to the clerk, "Don't you think u should acknowledge a potential customer when they come into your store?" She mumbled something about looking for something and I told her I would not be buying from her store. Will not go in this store again. A shame because they carry some really lovely clothes but I can't tolerate rude sales people. U would think an upscale business like this would train their associates to at least greet a customer. She went back to her counter n stared at us again with a rude way of asking what I'm looking for. The display item was in the window of the neighbouring store, which she insisted we go there.
The lady lost out on a potential purchase because 10 seconds of a stunned look on her face and rude interaction for 2 travellers willing to spend money during a pandemic. Absolutely disgusting customer service for a time like today ... an interacial couple in our 30s on a Friday morning looking for gift.
