O My Sushi — Restaurant in Ontario

We were staying in Kingston for just one night and our 12-year old wanted to treat us to dinner but insisted it be sushi. After looking at the reviews for several sushi restaurants, we decided to give O My Sushi a try since the reviews were so good and it was within walking distance for us.

Do not let the appearance of this small but quaint restaurant fool you... You have found the right place. You will not be disappointed by the menu, the quality of the food and the service. This may actually be the best sushi we have ever eaten, and we are a well travelled family.

We were given miso soup and edamame as free appetizers. We also had seaweed salad and NATO to accompany our meals. Highly recommend the volcano sushi and the black ice cream.

I made a pick up order through Uber eats. When the app said the order was ready to pick up I went to the store but the owner said it wouldn't be ready for another hour. When I explained that the app said it was ready, he said there was nothing he could do about it, and that I would have to contact Uber to get my money back. My husband and I have made Oh My Sushi our "go-to" spot for sushi! We met and lived in Vancouver, so we have fairly high standards for what constitutes "good" sushi. Despite it's admittedly unappealing exterior, Oh My Sushi is truly a hidden gem in Kingston! They are always gracious, the service is courteous, and the sushi is superb!
