Downtown Kingston is such a great place to explore. The historic limestone buildings give it a lot of charm, and the whole area is very walkable. Princess Street is full of restaurants, cafés, and shops, so there’s always something new to try. The waterfront is just steps away and makes for a perfect spot to relax or take photos, especially at sunset.

The vibe is lively but still comfortable — summer patios, street festivals, and markets make it feel fun and welcoming, while in winter the lights and seasonal events keep it cozy.

There’s a good mix of local businesses and familiar spots, so you can find everything from unique boutiques to casual eats and fine dining.

Downtown Kingston did not disappoint! It was very lively, with lots of stores (chains and small business’s), food options and attractions. The historic buildings and water front are beautiful! Getting some photos with the Kingston sign is a must! Everything was clean enough. Not the cleanest downtown I’ve visited, but definitely better then some. It reminded me of downtown Toronto, but less busy and much less homeless. Parking was reasonably priced and free after certain hours. Although it was sometimes difficult to find a spot. I would definitely return...
