Ok forgive me for that my photos were taken after I ate some of the dishes. I just couldn't resist. The tofu, nigiri roll and the rice bowel were more than shown on my photo!

Now, let me tell you this restaurant is really amazing when you want some great suzhi.

Their agedashi tofu was deep fried with a layer of sticky rice(I think). As a deep fry tofu lover, this was such a surprise and I appreciate the taxture a lot. The sauce was just the right amount of saulty and sweat and not soaking the tofu like most of the restaurant.

We ordered 3 special rolls and every single roll we had was a blast of flavour that goes so well with each other. I'm sure you won't be disappointed with any of their rolls.

The rice bowl was a great addition for our meal as well. Assorted fish are fresh and goes well with everything in the bowel. Again a blast of ocean flavours.

Overall, we ordered more than what we should including 3 special rolls, 2 nigiri, 1 tofu dish, 1 rice bowl(not poke bowl), 1 saporo cost $101. You can comfortably had a full meal with less than that. The volumes are pretty good.

Highly recommend. Worth my...

We ordered take out to bring back to our boat. Staff was more than accommodating putting together our take out order. We ordered a custom 55 piece platter - rolls & sushi was fresh, tasty and presentation was excellent. Asked for a crispy spicy shrimp roll - was outstanding. Sunomono was good. Shrimp tempura was wrapped with care so it would stay crispy for the walk back to our boat. We ordered two different types of udon - it was made different from what we are use to - different type of broth, a lot more veggies - it was delicious. Staff made sure we had everything we needed for our floating picnic.

I had a glass of wine while I waited. Nice selection of wines. Not a huge selection of wines - just good quality wines.

Just a note: if you like lots of pickled ginger, wasabi and soy sauce make sure you order extra. Our family uses a lot of  condiments and we ran out mid meal.

We will be visiting Sushiya Zen every time we stay in Kington - so many things on the menu we want to try - food served on the tables...

Sushiya Zen Charged me $100, but refuse to cook the food. I ordered from Sushi Zen on Uber Eats on May 3rd,2024 but kid accidentally hit cancel. I contacted Uber and was told i had to pay in full because the restaurant had already accepted the order and told i could contact with restaurant to solve the issue. I went to the restaurant in person, and although they received the money ($100+) but somehow they were unwilling to prepare the meal and i told by store owner "the order was already refused by restaurant and i will get full refund". I feel sad the restaurant owner is take advantage of this and being dishonest to me. I really wish store owner does not know they already receive the full amount and not on their's intention...

Absolutely amazing food! the freshest poke, salmon, and sushi you can get. My boyfriend and I love coming here, it’s easily one of our favorite spots in Kingston. The prices are super reasonable for how fresh everything is, and the service is always great. The atmosphere is lovely too, really makes the whole experience even better. If you’re wondering what to try, my boyfriend swears by the spicy kani, and I highly recommend the salmon poke bowl! it’s always beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. 10/10, we can’t recommend this place enough!
