I visited the Keg Jan 2024 with a group of 7 to celebrate a birthday. My experience was 3/5, mediocre at best. Below I will detail why I gave this rating. In short, my experience did not equal a fine dining experience nor the price of the meal ($150 for 2 keg classic dinners including tip). I don’t plan to return due to the price being overly inflated and not equal to the quality of food/ experience. As well, I will not be returning based on my experience with the bathroom.
Service The service was excellent and honestly what saved this review. Our server was attentive and proactive, she even offered to take our photo for the special evening. One person at our table had an allergy and all staff ensured food safety and took it very seriously.
Food The food was mediocre. I ordered the Keg Classic Filet Mignon. My steak was over cooked and a little dry/tough. Others at the table experienced the same with their cuts. My dinner was meant to feature mushrooms and my choice of accompaniment. I received 5 tiny cremini mushrooms, beets and broccoli. This was not what I was expecting, nor what was detailed on the menu. I was disappointed with such few mushrooms, considering this was meant to be the featured side to compliment the meat. I do not feel like this meal was worth the $57ish (before tax and tip) which it was listed for on the menu. Keep in mind my meal total came to $75 with tip, no drinks.
Additionally, the kitchen staff apparently did not take proper precautions in preparing an order for someone in my group with an allergy, but it was luckily caught by the kitchen manager before being served at the table. Again, the staff were fantastic and this slip up was handled very well by both wait staff and managers.
Restaurant & Atmosphere This restaurant is crowded and loud. For that reason, it does not lend to a fine dining experience or atmosphere. It seems like they are more focused on serving quantity (more customers) to then reap a higher profit than they are concerned with a quality dining experience. It is also incredibly difficult to find parking at this location.
Bathrooms Bathrooms are awful. They are in desperate need of renovations and regular maintenance (ie soap refills), at the very least the pipes need to be fixed so that water doesn’t leak out when the toilet is flushed. There was only 1 soap bottle split between 2-3 sinks, and it was filled with watered down soap that didn’t even lather. Absolutely disgusting. I interpret this to mean that every person (including staff) who used this bathroom was unable to properly wash their hands, and therefore dragged bacteria and germs into the dining area. For a fine dining restaurant like the Keg, I would’ve expected quality soap for each sink. As they say, the bathroom is a reflection of the state of the kitchen.

Read moreIt was my husband retirement dinner. I made reservations, we arrived 4:00,we had been there for my birthday the end of November, we don't eat out at restaurants because of $$$ So where it was a special event we wanted to enjoy ourselves have a wonderful evening. When we first arrived we showed the girl our cards to prove we had our shots, then the other girl screaming out you have to have the keos to scan,we didn't have that, so we stepped aside to do this task, thinking why wasn't I told this when I made the reservation. So,the gentleman called me,took us to our seats, very nice area by the fireplace, as we sat our water came over introduced himself, then came back to take our orders, he was wounderful very pleasant. Our meals came,I had order steak and lobster dinner, very good, my husband dinner looked very good till he cut into his steak, it was red ray..then sitting there trying to get someone attention, he flag four people down no one came, then I got up myself to get someone attention. The girl from the front, I asked her if she could get someone to take my husband steak back to cook it more, she came over ,she looked at his steak to see it was not cooked to what he wanted, she said so you want it cooked brown? My husband wanted medium raw it was raw,it was brought back cook more, but still raw in places,he chose not to eat it. He was very disappointed, as I was for him wanting this to be a nice evening for us. The manager came over asking how our dinner was unaware of the problem with his steak, he saw he didn't finish his dinner. He then offered us dessert for free. When our water came over he was very appageck ,...nothing he did.. he was very good at his job. He came back with the desert menu, he said anything but icecream... everything had icecream on it or was icecream...cheesecake was all we could take..we don't like cheesecake 😒 We got our bill, $177.with tip $200. It was not enjoyable other than the company, I felt bad for my husband hoping this would be a nice dinner, and it was very disappointing 😔 We have decided we will not come...
Read moreDespite having some mixed reviews we decided to try The Keg and went into our experience with some optimism while also knowing it might not go well. We had hands down one of my best experiences dining out here on 8/23/2025. We had reservations for a table of 4 at 7pm. We were sat immediately (side note the hostess was dressed a little inappropriately for this level of dining in my opinion. She had on a VERY short dress and was tugging it down every time we saw her. There was at one point that her underwear was visible. Just not a good look but hey to each their own). After we were sat we were immediately greeted by our waiter (wish I could recall his name to give him proper accolades). He was helpful in making decisions and identifying the pros and cons to each option. I have a shellfish allergy and he was right on top of it and made sure each staff who came to our table was discreetly aware of my allergy, I never felt put on the spot or made to feel like there was a “fuss” because of my allergy. Our waiter kept our meal appropriately paced between courses allowing time to enjoy our meal without feel rushed or conversely sitting there waiting on something. The food….the food was spectacular. Hands down some of the best food our whole table has eaten. I had the filet ordered medium rare and that’s exactly how it arrived. There was another steak ordered at our table which was done right, the vegetarian pot pie I was told was delicious and the Mac and cheese was some of the best my husband has had. Our meal lasted 2 hrs and without a doubt we will be back. Well done The...
