We loved everything about our experience. We visited for a weeknight dinner in August. We sat outside in the back courtyard which is very picturesque and cozy. The building itself is old. The courtyard in the back is connected to the street via l an arch walkway through the building. They didn't have information on the building's history but I thought perhaps the courtyard in the back might have been stables at one time. Now there are pergolas, patio lights, Vines and plants. We tried the double dry IPA and really enjoyed it. The kids got chicken strips and fries. I got a breaded chicken sandwich and a salad and my husband got the chicken pot pie in a salad. All the food was really yummy. The service was also very good. We had two servers come to our table within just a few minutes of sitting down. And they were attentive throughout our meal. We did check out the inside before we ate and it's it has the feel of an English pub. There's lots of dark wood booths and interesting decor all around. I highly recommend to anyone in the area regardless if you're drinking the beer or not.

I am writing this review to bring attention to the owner or management of the poor service i received from one of the waitresses. I have been a customer there a few times and never had any problems. However, on the night of Oct. 1 at 11 pm i arrived there with my girlfriend. The waitress was very unpleasant from the start. She asked if we were having som thing to eat which we replied no we were having a beer. She seemed like she did not want to be there serving us. We had one drink each and when we tried to order a second one. She left and came back with the debit machine and told us she is cutting us off. We drove from toronto and we stopped at amadeus for dinner since we had reservations at 8:45, we had dinner and we had two beer there with my meal. I briefly spoke to brian since i know him, then i drove to my hotel and checked in at best western. I called a cab and my destination for a few beer was to be at the kingston brewing company. I am 44 years old of age, i came there responsibly with a taxi, i was not intoxicated and was rudely accused to be intoxicated. We were not loud or having any issues or causing any disturbance. I told the waitress maybe she needs a test to recognize the signs of intoxication to which she replied that i no longer can come back there. I called to soeak to management or the owner and a girl answered and i started to tell her about my experience. As i was speaking to her a gentleman interrupted the call and claimed to be the owner in which he tried to defend the waitress in telling me it is a private establishment and they can choose who they are allowed to serve and that it was me who was extremely rude to her. I did not make a scene and calmly went to another establishment where i enjoyed a few drinks and had an appetizer and went back to the hotel with a taxi. I have a degree in business management and supply chain. I am of age to know how to be responsible and never been intoxicated in public or have any troubles as i had at this establishment. I am writing this review because i feel i was treated disrespectfully somewhere where i just wanted to enjoy a night out with my partner. My night was made miserable there from an employee who seemed she did not want to serve us or to be working. I am also a business owner and i would seriously consider if i want someone working for me who cannot judge if someone is intoxicate or not at a...

A couple of friends and I visited the Brew Pub (June 24, 2015) after reading some good reviews, but sadly, we did not share in the positive experience. On arrival, we were quickly seated in a booth by the entrance; that was about the entirety of the customer service we received. Our server seemed pleasant at first while taking our orders, but after delivering, he literally avoided our table. I had even been given the wrong order, but did not get the chance to send it back because our server threw our plates at us and then took off. He passed by us many times, but clearly enjoyed spending his shift with other customers instead of checking up on us. We had all finished our meals without any re-approaching and even had to walk to the bar counter to replace our drinks. If our experience wasn't disappointing enough, we waited an additional 20 minutes for the tab and still had to call a different server over just to be cashed out. I mentioned that our table seemed to be forgotten, and even that server seemed genuinely disinterested. When needing a debit machine to pay, our original server momentarily reappeared to slam the machine on our table, and did not even stay around to know if the transaction was approved. I've never had a dining experience as miserable as this; which is too bad because the food was actually quite good. Unfortunately, none of us will be returning, and for...

Honestly, I am disappointed with today's experience at KBC. I never write reviews, but I felt obligated to write one today because it was bad, and I feel as though some can learn from this experience.

I ordered a beer and a cheeseburger. The amber beer I was served had absolutely no head on it, and honestly, the burger was kinda dry and mediocre for the price tag (2023, right?). That kinda sucked, but honestly, that's not the reason I felt obligated to write a review.

We finished and wanted to head out... except nobody would send send us the check in a timely manner. I get that occasionally, the hardworking waitstaff of restaurants can be swamped (especially with restaurants shortstaffing), but this was very clearly not the case at the time we visited as plenty of tables were open in the restaurant.

When I finally got the check and saw the machine head towards me... another customer butted in and got the machine first that was very clearly headed for our table. When the waitstaff member finally headed to our table, they explained that it was for another table of someone they knew, which just doesn't seem right to me and didn't make me feel I and my money mattered as a customer.

I don't think I'll be back, but I do hope they turn things around. It was a great atmosphere the first time we went last year. They can be good, but tonight was just not a good experience at...
