Very bad experience with this place. Me and my girlfriend went the other day and got a brown sugar matcha latte and she loved it. Today we went back and ordered the same thing but instead she got a brown sugar latte with no matcha. She told the worker the issue and asked if she could remake it. She "remade" it and gave my girlfriend back an opaque cup as opposed to the clear cup we normally get, as if she didn't want my girlfriend to be able to see what was in the cup for some reason. My girlfriend then tasted the drink and it still was not the right drink, instead appearing to be a plain matcha milk tea with plain pearls. She asked the same worker if she got the wrong drink again but this time the worker had a rude attitude and insisted that she had the right drink. My gf said this doesn't taste like what she had last time and the worker said "well I don't know what you had last time". Instead of offering to try and make the drink again or to offer a different drink or to maybe consult another worker, she just argued with us. My gf didn't want to argue so she dropped it but was very sad and unsatisfied with the drink she paid for. It's almost as if the worker separated the two parts of the drink (the brown sugar and the matcha) and put them into two different cups then insisted that she had made the right drink. Will not be going back...
Read moreBetter than their Laurier Ave. E branch. I actually advise everyone to avoid the Laurier Ave. E location, even if you love CoCo very much. There is a female cashier always with a bithcy attitude. A month after I wrote a long complaint letter about that and read many one star reviews from some other customers about that rude woman, she is still working there and her attitude is not any better, so there is reason to believe that the management does not intend to take any action anyway. It was all I could do to convince as many people as possible not to go to that branch if you do not want to be treated rudely by an inexplicably crazy woman. Also if you have seen the many other complaints under the page of that location, then you will be able to know that what I have said above is far...
Read moreI love that this bubble tea shop lets you use your own container to get bubble tea! Honestly, this is one of the main reasons that I always choose coco! The drinks are really good too, but the fact that I can reduce plastic means a lot to me, and I make an effort to support coco for that reason. HOWEVER, lately when I go in, even when there is no line up, I find that the employee making my bubble tea is so quick to fill a plastic cup with toppings before my reusable cup gets there that they end up wasting a plastic cup anyways. This is really disappointing to me! The whole point of me bringing my glass jar is so that I can reduce waste, so PLEASE COCO!!! Help me with this!! Don't waste a plastic cup on me when I bring my own reusable cup, and try to support this...
