Worst food ever, I tried them second time to check if the first time was only bad due to any reason but this time is more horrible. Their veg noodles stink and taste like 3days old and they put lot of some sort of sauce like the whole bottle of sauce was spilled in it. When called them they took no responsibility and said you can call uber to get refund but in reality its their mistake not Ubers. Worst employees worst owner and even visit their restaurant it smells so bad and the ambience is horrible. I felt like I was going under depression when visited their place for the first time that is why I decided to order from uber this time. Employees are so unprofessional and rude specially the lady on the counter I feel like she is probably the manager or the owners relative or something. She is so horrible and rude person I have ever seen in a restaurant. Doesn’t take any responsibility of what they have done but they chose to disrespect you in front of other customers and this is a true story I have witnessed when visited first time in their restaurant happened with one of our Indian brother. Suggestion- If you can’t handle the mistakes and complaints from Desi Community then do not serve Indian food just shut down this place and open something else otherwise I would suggest to work for somebody in their restaurant first to learn how to serve and speak properly and politely with people and talk professionally too. Worst worst worst experience of my life in any restaurant so far. I do not recommend anybody going to them and let them know that they are not the only Indian restaurant in Regina. Read moreI ordered panipuri from this restaurant recently. I was quite disappointed in the quality. The actual golgappe/ puris were the dried fryum type. They were not the original pani puris. One doesn't expect this from a restaurant. Good quality restaurants usually make their own puris from scratch or get them from someone who makes real pani puris. The filling was also disappointing. I am not sure if this is a kind of filling given anywhere but it only consisted of raw chole, onions and few cut potatoes sprinkled with salt and chili powder. It looked more like a salad rather than a panipuri filling. Not sure, but I have eaten panipuri in several different states in India, North and South and haven't really seen this kind of filling anywhere. The only good thing was the pani. The taste of the pani/water was really good. It was too spicy for me but thats just me. The flavor was otherwise good. My personal opinion is that this restaurant should either start making their own puris and make proper filling or take it off the menu. It's quite disappointing when we crave pani puri and get this. I know we cannot get authentic Indian taste abroad, but atleast fryums should not be sold in the name of panipuri.

Read moreUndoubtedly, Regina is the home for best Indian dishes in Saskatchewan so whenever we visit, we like to try Indian food from different restaurants. However, Dawat India is going to change our pattern after the experience today.
We ordered a take out from Dawat that included Garlic naans, Dal Makhani, Paneer Tikka Masala, Vegetable Pulao and Jeera Pulao. The food arrived in time and was still hot. The first thing that caught our attention was packaging; it was all secured and without spillage.
When opened, the aroma took over to let us know we were in for a treat. Both the gravies were delicious, rightly cooked and rich in spices and cream. Vegetable pulao was loaded with crunchy beans, peas, carrots and corn. Black gram beans and red kidney beans were cooked well in Dal makhani. The reason why I could not post any pictures is because we didn't wait to take any and realised only after finishing the food.
We would love to order again from Dawat India next time we come to Regina or better yet, hope to have pandemic restrictions are lifted so that we can dine in. Most probably, our search for authentic Indian food in...
