DO NOT STOP HERE. This is the worst Tim Hortons TRANS CANADA WIDE. I have travelled Canada end to end stopping frequently at Tim's for coffees and a bathroom break along the way and this is certifiably the worst.
When we first arrived we were informed that the women's washroom was out of order as the door wouldn't lock. We were told to use the men's washroom, and we ended up walking in on a man. They had the perfectly functional family bathroom locked for no apparent reason and when staff were alerted of this, they tried the door, said they didn't know why it would be locked and proceeded to do nothing about the issue. I ended up guarding the women's washroom door for someone's daughter who was not mine, so she wouldn't have to go into the men's bathroom as that is INAPPROPRIATE AND UNSAFE.
We then went to the counter to order 2 mocha ice Capps politely (I work in customer service so I go out of my way to be the easiest customer possible because it is indeed a difficult job). I put a special request in to have one of the mocha ice Capps with chocolate chips added. I was charged for 2 chocolate chip ice Capps and handed a medium mocha with no whipped cream but with chocolate chips, and a regular chocolate chip ice capp (chocolate chip ice Capps are currently being charged at a supreme rate which means whipped cream included). I did not realize I would be charged for 2 Supremes.
We decided there was no need to make a fuss, we didn't mind paying a little extra as they fulfilled my request, but asked for the chocolate chip ice capp to be replaced for the mocha it was suppose to be, hoping it would be the actual item I ordered, and this time actually blended. He brought back a very light ice capp, but we took it as we were tired and didn't want to have to stand around waiting for the proper order. We went out to our car to have a smoke, then went through the drive thru to have our order finally corrected. The woman at the window was not very friendly and replaced it with what looked like a regular ice capp. We said no, that's suppose to be a mocha. She told us it was a mocha so I took a sip - it had maybe 1 pump of chocolate (mediums are suppose to be 3 pumps and should LOOK darker than regular ice Capps).
So we ended up with 4 employees at the window and a woman whom I presume was a supervisor getting very upset with us for returning our order and took it away to make a new one. She brought back yet another light color ice capp, which I tried, and again only a faint hint of chocolate. I told her the order was not right and she informed me that a mocha ice capp is a regular ice capp with chocolate flavor shot which I was aware of as I order a mocha ice capp every day before work. Fed up, tired and thirsty I just wanted my money back.
The "supervisor" had taken the last ice capp away, so I got another employees attention to tell her this as the other girl was not interested in what I had to say, just that she was right and wanted me gone. When this "supervisor" came back the other employee said "they just want a refund" and we had already given back the 2nd ice capp. The supervisor, no joke, said "are you kidding me?!!!!!" Scoffed and stormed away, then came back to the window and slammed change into my hand (I paid debit) and walked away without a word and closed the window.
To sum it up: all of the employees I dealt with here were absutely dreadful and do not contain an ounce of service in their being. They also do not know how to prepare their drinks correctly, the building is very very outdated, and the facilities only work some of the time.
Best advice: Go to one of the many other Tim's in the city, and if traveling trans can stop in Moose Jaw instead, they are very attentive, friendly and make excellent...
Read moreWe have been to many Tim's but this is the first time I have been sold what appeared to be leftovers. My wife and I both purchased a bacon chicken wrap with sea-salt potato wedges. She had coffee and I had the Wild Berry Hibiscus beverage. We were there about 12:30 and it was not particularly busy. How is it possible that at the prime lunch hour in an uncrowded restaurant that we could be served cold, very hard to chew bacon and chicken, encased in a cold doughy wrap given to us within three minutes of ordering? The potato wedges were of two types -- soft and chewy or completely overcooked to the point of being solid and unchewable -- more of the latter than the former. I had to go back to the counter and request ketchup to try and add some flavour to an otherwise bland dish. So at least 1/3 of them had to be discarded as they were not worth risking my teeth on the hardened pieces. Both ends of the wrap had to be tossed in the refuse collector as they were far too thick and chewy and had no delicacies within. The coffee, hooray, at least was up to Tim's fine standard. However, my EXHORBITANLY PRICED beverage (which tasted quite delicious) also added further disgust as, when the fluid was gone, the glass was about 5/8 or more full of bits of ice!!! Who's idea was that??? Now I'm wondering just how much per ounce or milliliter it cost me MINUS the ice!!?? A total rip-off and somebody needs to be spoken to at that Tim's and whoever thought they could get away with loading a glass more than half-full with inexpensive ice thinking that is what a consumer would be happy to pay for a disguised absence of highly expensive fluid. I have read some of the other complaints written by other customers and wish that I could have filed a far more positive report but hopefully this, along with other strongly-phrased negative write-ups you received previously, might, actually SHOULD, evoke some significant change at this locale. We enjoy coming to Regina despite the 3 hour drive but this did put an unsavory element on this trip. There are far too many strong competitors for you to allow to continue in this manner, and on our next trip we will certainly actively pursue a worthy substitute. Your location is absolutely PRIME -- sadly, the same cannot be said about what you serve. ...
Read moreI never do reviews, but this time I feel compelled to do one. Today was the second time I visited for coffee in the past couple of weeks. Both times I have waited a number of minutes at the counter with my friend to be served. Many staff would glance over, make eye contact and never come to the till to get our orders. Said not a word to even acknowledge us. It wasn’t until my friend spoke up to request service because we were tired of waiting. Both times the empty tables were not clean. It was quiet and not very busy at 11:00. A staff was washing the floor and leaving it quite wet. I had to use the washroom, although the caution signs were up it was so wet that I was terribly afraid of falling. While in the washroom, the tissue paper was half wet even after pulling out 5-6 pieces, so obviously it was wet when it was put in the dispenser. With what kind of water, who knows!! Gross! I left this establishment with a very negative feeling. I did enjoy the coffee and Timbit though.
*This edited addition to my review is in response to the reply I received . The customer service help web page you directed me to doesn’t work after multiple tries. I guess Tim’s doesn’t want to receive and address valid concerns and even attempt to correct or create happy customers who...
