Warning: Don't order takeout here, not only you don't get to pick up your order on time but also get treated poorly by the manager/owner.
We made an online order at 2 PMish and reserved to pick up the order at 5:25. Arrived at the restaurant at 5:15, being told that the order was not ready, so we waited. Went to the pick up counter again at 5:25, the server told us that they were still cooking the last dish (supposed to be a quick stir-fry dish) and asked us to wait again. We waited for almost 10 more min and still no one came to give us food, were already quite pissed off at that point, so we complained to the manager. We got more upset when we saw other pickup orders that were scheduled to be ready at 5:45 were already left on the counter, yet still no signs of ours food. The manager was not apologetic at all and refused to take any reponsibilities, claiming that we should call the online platform to complain not to them, because they HAVE NOTHING to do with the reserved order and we are NOT their customers but the platform's🙄🙄🙄 The male middle-aged manager even mocked us "If you are CAPABLE OF TAKING THE FOOD, THEN COME AND TAKE IT!" This is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. This is not the way you treat a consumer. If you are too busy to prepare food for the online orders and believe the online users are NOT YOUR CUSTOMERS, then do not launch your restaurant on this platform😤😡 We have ordered more than a dozen times this year and always chose this restaurant for our gatherings, but after this, we will not be coming back.
BTW: The food is also very greasy and the size of beef slices is pathetic - most are not even larger than my pinky...
Read moreMe and my girlfriend went for her birthday and did not have a good experience. The food was not bad but as we were eating i found a piece of hair in the Sichuan boiled beef dish. I just said whatever and kept eating until i found another hair. I felt a little disgusted and was scared to take another bite. So we told the server and gave us two options. Which were they would make us a new one and give 10% off or take the item off our bill. We told them we can’t eat this dish cause another hair might come out so they took it off our bill. We weren’t even half way done we probably had 3/4 left. So we weren’t as full. Also we had one of the server who seemed new to the job she was the only one who said sorry and felt sorry. But other servers who came by did not say sorry and made us feel like we did something wrong cause since it was my girlfriend’s birthday they gave out free cake. We were assuming to eat the cake at the restaurant but asked us if we wanted to take it home. He did not apologize for the hair incident and seemed like they wanted us out of the restaurant. Also I don’t know if she was the manager or the boss but she also did not apologize when she came to our table and had an angry face while talking with us to pack our left over dish (another dish “sweet and sour ribs”) Overall the taste was not bad but i don’t think it’s clean. Read moreI’ve been to this restaurant many times with different groups of friends and always enjoyed the food, so I brought my friend visiting from the U.S. tonight because she loves spicy food. The food still tasted great, but the service really disappointed me.
When we asked to pack our leftovers, the server accidentally dropped the container lid on the floor—right next to us—and still gave us that same dirty lid without offering a clean replacement. When we asked another staff member to change it, he did speak to the original server, but instead of apologizing, the server made excuses like “I had no hands” and insisted he didn’t do anything wrong.
