A friend and I wanted to order in. The reviews for seasoned fusion were all great so we picked this one over many other options. I ordered the vegan chow mein and he ordered loaded pho with no shrimp. The restaurant's website made the dishes look great with the photos chosen, with plenty of ingredients in each though the ingredients were not listed on the site. What we received was shocking. The vegan chow mein was literally just thin rice noodles with hot sauce provided for $12 and the 'loaded' pho was various beef parts with onions in a broth, really disappointing and not what was pictured to even a slight degree for $14. I called the restaurant because I thought there was a mix up. The person I talked to was super unhelpful, mentioned that the photos on the website were not meant to be representations on the meals? and then basically said tough luck. I suggested they update the photos on their website to better reflect the meals; but that wasn't received. I was mostly disappointed in the lack of vegetables on both meals, especially with one being vegan. I could've bought rice noodles from a grocery store for two dollars and made a better meal for...
Read moreNestled between Marca College and Era Style Loft, the feel of this cozy restaurant reminds me of a very charming French bistro at night. I visited for dinner with a friend, and the atmosphere was exactly what I wanted: mellowed-out lighting, tea lights flickering on the tables, and soft jazz (not the elevator muzak kind) in the background. I chose the loaded vermicelli bowl with ginger lemon tea, and it was a well-assembled masterpiece. Some of the best crispy spring rolls I've ever had; I wish I knew where to buy the ginger lemon tea locally. No cheap after-dinner mints here, either, because the lychee-flavoured candy at the end was impressive in its similarity to lychee. I get the impression this is a restaurant that likes to hit 100 on all points, because my visit was a study in service, gastronomics and ambience. I think this restaurant is worth your business, and if you stop in for a visit, I doubt you'll come away...
Read moreWhenever someone asks where to go if they’re plant based/vegan and/or gluten free, I tell them to come here. Typically menus at most restaurants won’t have ANY options for me, if they do, 1-2 options for someone like me (GF&V) but this place it’s hard to choose what to get because the options are plenty. It’s a good problem to have. 😊🫰🏼 The food is consistently delicious and quick to come out! My personal faves are the crispy seasoned tofu, crispy vegan spring rolls, and the Singapore fried rice. These are always my go-tos and I crave them & have them often, I should really expand my tastebuds and try the others too. To be continued. Thanks Seasoned for the delicious food and for having great vegan options in Saskatoon! I hope other restaurants will follow suit soon too and accommodate meat eaters and vegans too! The more vegan options, the more business and people they...
