Pumped to get a 50$ gift card from our friends to this restaurant. Then a year later we went to use our gift card and it said the card was invalid and nothing was on it. The waitress was very nice and did a great job and went to get the owner/manager to help with this situation. The owner or manager, wasn’t too sure, came and checked the card and said their is nothing on the card and said we needed the receipt. We didn’t have the receipt and then the owner/manager said sorry there is nothing we can do, she was short with us and not very helpful with the situation.

In the end, my friend ended up getting a credit card statement and coming In to show her that he had bought the gift card. Over a long discussion, the owner/manager gave him a 40$ gift card to the restaurant. Guess she couldn’t make it 50$.

So bad experience for myself and family and friend group. She did make a...

Vegans on the prairies can be a tough reality, but we were here two days in a row, coming and going from a festival we were performing at in Alberta, and it really hit the spot. It's amazing what one or two employees in a tiny, but comfortable and nicely decorated space can pull off! We enjoyed the masala chai tea with almond milk - spicy, not too sweet, very flavorful and fresh, the fresh salad rolls with peanut sauce, a Indian spiced, roasted cauliflower dish, the maki bowl, and especially the warm lentil and beetroot salad with arugula, pecans, quinoa, and a slightly spicy, slightly sweet light sauce. There were so many things we didn't try - like vegan scones, breakfast items, sandwiches, wraps, and other drinks it's a shame we only pass through Saskatoon once every year or two. We hope this place does well and we can stop in next time we...

The first three times I went to Karma Cafe last summer I loved it. I introduced several friends to the cafe, loving the food, atmosphere, positive intentions set forth by the owners. At that time I would have given it 4/5 stars. However I have been there three times in the last two months with each visit being disappointing in terms of food and drink. My 'to go' drink orders were wrong and tasted awful, my current drink in front of me is a chai tea that is cold.. when it is supposed to be warm. Food is still great, but they often run out of options and supplies which would be understandable at 2pm, not 12:15 when I arrived today. I hope they are able to return it back to the former amazing food and drink place it was. Hate to not support a well intentioned...

googled “vegan” and this place came up, expected their whole menu to be vegan, it’s not. literally only a couple things are vegan, very disappointing. ordered their “power bowl” which is blended fruit with juice, honey & nuts; expecting it to be super yummy, it was not. literally just tasted like crunchy ice flavoured fruit. might as well have went to 7/11 and gotten a snow cone because that’s what it reminded me of. there was literally huge chunks of ice as shown in the picture, that was only 2/7 big chunks i had in my whole bowl. extremely disappointing :/ update: there was more ice than i expected… 😠

Visited with a friend and as they are regular there I already had expectations- Place is exactly how it was described to me Calm, relaxed and comfortable which is rare when it comes to traditional cafés - Food was amazing so does the Vietnamese coffee Moment you enter this cafe there is a bell which makes a sound and immediately you feel like you are in the mountains of Tibet Good place to support your mental health as the more time you spend here and it let you take a break from constant overthinking by all means would be visiting again Thanks!

Located somewhere convenient. I usually critique the latte, however, a menu item disturbed me enough to forget my raison d'etre. The Bahn Mi. Don't expect a traditional Vietnamese Bahn Mi. as you can see from the photo. **Update** I didn't mean that in a harsh way. Regardless, it is a delicious dish. What I'm saying is, it is a unique/unexpected dish to be enjoyed given it's name. Unique enough, that I forgot what I usually like to do. And this establishment is worth a repeat.
