Came here today for my father's birthday with my sister's because my dad use to LOVE the chicken Parm, but after today we found that the quality of the food and service went down A LOT.
My sisters, father and I each got drinks. One of my sisters got a Kronenberg blanc and my dad got a 6oz red wine. The server came back with a Corona for my sister and told us that they don't serve Kronenberg when it was literally on the drinks menu, she also said that they lost their bottle opener and so they can't serve us any wine. The server did not even know the selection on the menu, and as for the wine - she couldn't even recommend us a different type of wine that didn't have a cork opening, but instead told us that we couldn't order any wine instead. Are you kidding me?
For the food, we ordered the French onion soup, cauliflower bites, BBQ wings, honey dill fried chickens sandwiches with fries, chicken Parm with spaghetti, and jambalaya Fettuccini. The food was (again) very low quality. The French onion was crazy salty, and the onions were not fully cooked through to reach the nice sweet point. The cauliflower bites were overly fried: our forks could not make it through the actual pieces and they were flying every where before we could actually fork it. The sandwiches were pretty plain, the chicken was not fried at all but rather lightly and poorly battered. The chicken Parm was below average and the garlic bread was soft to touch with little garlic butter spread, and not even toasted. The jambalaya Fettuccini was the only dish on par. Besides the dishes being poorly made this way, the food was also warm to touch and not even hot when it got to the table. The only thing that came hot was the soup. Major yikes.
Unfortunately I don't think my sisters and I will be returning again. The quality and service has just gone down so much, but if my dad wants to come again for his next birthday...
Read moreRecently had one of the worst dining experiences to date at this location.
I was sent an email saying I won a free pasta or pizza at this location, so rather than going to our usual queensway location the family and I went here. We popped in on a sunday at 230ish and was greeted kindly by the host. Once server arrived i showed her my email and she immediately dismissed it by saying it was only a half portion which was fine with me because the family was order sides and apps. I put my daughters meal in before drinks and it still came extremely late. Server told my husband he could only get the fixed sides which has never happens before at any location. My husband physically got up to ask for a pepsi refill and for sidesplates for our app. The server told us she brought the food out hot (late mind you with only one other table dining) and said our garlic toast is coming. We never recieved or saw her until the end of meal which she brought out 4 burnt toast..?? All of those problems could have been swallowed if server didnt try ro charge full price knowingly last minute after waiting 10 minutes for bill, and our child anxiously crying. I asked for the manager and he slowly came giving me attitude telling me i had to email the email the sent to get the discount . When i asked where to send it to he told me the server provided it, in the nasiest tone. My husband had to interject and explain she didnt tell us. All of this while standing waiting to pay and leave. Our child in tears and the manager went to change bill in the slowest manner possible. I didnt even want to fight for the 10% off for family, they promised me twice in email.

Read moreUsed to be alot better. It’s gone downhill. We now drive further to a different Boston Pizza and it’s no longer our home-based Boston pizza. The owner/upper management should really work on training better. The kitchen made us pizza and didn’t apply garlic butter to the pizza like other boston pizza locations do, and we notified the waitress who helped communicate it to the kitchen. Kitchen didn’t take accountability and said they made it correctly. We’re not picky people usually but we came specifically for this pizza for this very reason and had they said they made a mistake and were willing to fix it, We would have been happy to stay, but we gave the order back and left for a different pizza place. After our complaint, our waitress seemingly avoided our table, probably out of fear for awkwardness but please note that regardless of how a server feels, it comes across weird now since we weren’t even mad at her in the first place, now what was originally a good service from the waitress has become a bad one. Now we’re left to wonder why we’re not attended to. This is what I mean by the training of staff needs to be better. We’re not complaining because bad service happened once, but 3 consecutive times. I feel that is a fair amount of times to give an establishment a chance. We acknowledge human beings make msitakes (we make mistakes too in our lives) but 3 consecutive times is not a human mistake but a...
