We recently visited the newly opened GoodEarth Coffeehouse at Yonge and Wellesley, a brand proudly serving ethically sourced coffee and fresh food since 1991. This is a perfect spot to enjoy sandwiches, baked goods, fresh-ingredient smoothies, and feel refreshed for the sunny season. ☕🥪
The Margherita Panini, which was loaded with kale, basil pesto, fresh mozzarella, and their house-made tomato walnut Tapenade, was such a feast. It felt absolutely fresh and filling. We paired it with the fresh Strawberry Smoothie, and our berry love was worth it! 🥰
The Veggie Chili which is a healthy mix of black beans, brown rice and veggies with cheese, is another cool option for those looking for vegetarian options. 💯👍🏻
Well, we couldn’t leave a coffee shop without trying our favourite butter croissants. Fresh and warm out of the oven, they paired beautifully with the rich & creamy cappuccino, which was also a stunning work of coffee art! 🥐☕
Their seasonal favourites are the Jasmine & Honey Caffe Latte and Jasmine & Honey Earl Grey Latte - the perfect balance of floral and sweet. We were absolutely amazed by their Jasmine & Honey Caffe Latte, a perfect Spring beverage. You must try it too before it's off the shelf in June. 🍯🌸
GoodEarth is environmentally and community driven. So why not end on a sweet note? In case you missed it, try their ‘Chocolate Cake for Everyone’, and you’d know what we are...
Read morecoffee was decent but the medium was very small, besides the fact that the cup was so full of ice. i watched the person making the drink shake it in front of me and dump about half the coffee down the sink because only half of what they shook up would even fit in the cup. considering the price i don't think i will go back. i understand an independant buisness has to charge more but 5.50 for the quality + size i received was over the line of what i am willing to spend in any circumstance.
service was also very confusing. i came in and was waiting in line behind someone else who was ordering at the register when another employee just walked up from behind the counter and asked what i wanted. i told him i was just looking and he just repeated the question, so i told him that i would probably be getting [drink] as i thought he was just making conversation, and he gave me an annoyed look and told me he wasn't able to get that in for me as there was only one register. i was aware there was only one register, that's why i was waiting in line.
between that and having half of a perfectly good drink just dumped out in front of me being in here felt like the twilight zone. paying 5.50 for 3/4cup of very mediocre coffee was just the...
Read moreStopped by this morning, Monday, January 13, around 9 a.m. for a coffee and to get some work done.
Unfortunately, I had a such a negative experience with the staff member (Asian girl) working at the counter. She seemed completely uninterested in assisting and gave the impression that the entire interaction was inconvenient for her. When I was leaving, I asked a couple of questions and requested a to-go cup for my coffee. However, she was more focused on her phone than engaging with me or addressing my request.
As someone who works in hospitality, I understand that everyone can have off days. That said, a coffee shop employee is often a customer’s first interaction in the morning, and that interaction can set the tone for the rest of their day. A friendly and attentive attitude goes a long way in creating a welcoming atmosphere.
While I enjoyed the coffee and appreciated the ample workspace, this experience left a sour impression. I won’t be returning to this location, but I hope this feedback encourages a greater focus on customer service...
