Gotta say this has to be one of the nicest/most well managed internet cafes. I've ever been to when I saw all the positive reviews. I was definitely set high with expectations, and I wasn't dissapointed what so ever. The computers are nice and go higher and higher in quality as the place you sit dictates. They serve food there, and we tried the sausages and dumplings. It was fantastic and we 100% recommend it. Everyone's I encountered as far as staff was nice and was willing to answer even the most basic of questions. I got the pleasure of meeting the owner, and he was nice, friendly, and great to talk to. You could tell he's proud of this place, and for good reason, this is an expectation setter. The chairs you sit on are comfortable, and as a person who has issues with back pain, this was remarkable. Was so good. I decided I needed to buy one for my home setup. This place is very clean and saw them cleaning the tables as people were finishing up. Me and my friend will return to this place. Because it was a pleasure. The prices per hour and the food prices are all lower then I've experienced at other places half as good In comparison 5.50 for dumplings and 7.50 for Sausages and they were made perfect. This place respects your time respects your money and you. The employees are fast and attentive. The atmosphere. Begins the moment you go up the stairs. And see beautiful paintings on the wall. And walk in to hear music playing. The vibe is one I've never experienced before. If you're reading this do yourself a favor and come here. They also have a Board game room and PS5 and Xbox for console gamers. As well as affordable Day passes. Which work from opening to closing. Which become worth it after 3 hours of gaming. By per hour pricing. I...
Read moreVery modern, laid back and chill PC gaming bar. And their systems are extremely up to date. If you are playing the current trendy gatcha games, Riot Games products or some battle royal stuff, this would be the place for you. They have Discord installed for all the gamers, so you can communicate with your friends.
I was visiting Toronto and needed a computer gaming system to do my weeklies for Final Fantasy 14, and they for sure did not have an up to date patch. Understandable, as no one on the team plays the game, but I had to download and re-install their game for them from top to bottom. Literally sitting there for 2 hours for patching and installing. I maybe should have just gone down the street to do some shopping but as usual, the gamer in me wanted to sit there and just browse the internet.
While I was there, I ordered their food sets, because I was bored and hungry at the same time. I ordered a chicken nugget set, and it comes with a side of fries. Granted it wasn't that expensive, but it was cute to see that a PC gaming facility would have food with their expensive set ups. I was just scared to like have greasy fingers all over the keyboards.
Anyways, once all the patches were done and I was fully running, their systems are actually very very strong. It only took 2 hours to do my weeklies with my friends, and the machine was extremely fast and efficient. Loved that they had such comfy set ups as well. Wished I didn't have to be there for 2 hours patching the system, but I did enjoy my time while I was there.
If I was visiting Toronto again for a week or vacation, would come back here to do my...
Read moreThis is the fanciest internet cafe I've ever seen. Bright lights, sparkling tiles, indoor plants, armchairs! Oh and the artwork on the walls is absolutely gorgeous. There are plenty of computers and even private rooms, so that you can practice with teammates. The location is also very convenient, only a 2 minute walk from Wellesley subway station (and clearly marked). Using the computers requires you to sign up for an account, which is free, takes only 1 minute, and comes with a cool membership card.
Cons: pricing and language. PCs are $5/hr, which drops to $2/hr during off-peak hours (midday). Your time starts being deducted as soon as you load money onto your account (at the front desk), so any time spent walking around or logging into computers is essentially wasted money. Outside food is discouraged, but the snack/drink selection is very small and absurdly priced. Everything is in Chinese - banners, promotional materials, even the computers. This can be annoying, as you have to log in through a Chinese UI (which you can intuitively figure out) to access the desktop, in order to change the language settings for your own use. However, the software tracking your account and time usage (along with various other installed launchers) can't be changed, so you have to keep track of your own time and hope nothing...
