The cakes looked so pretty and delish but it all came down to whether it tasted as good as it looked, if you know what I mean. I have tried A LOT of desserts and let me just say this right here was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had! The cake itself was generously filled with strawberries & the whipped cream was so fluffy, light and oozingly delish! What l loved the most about this cake was that it wasn’t too sweet and overpowering and how you could taste the flavours of the cake in itself && if you aren’t a strawberry fan, Shu Cakes got you with flavours like Oreo, Blueberries & Melon! Hi! I asked the staff what was inside the Black Bun and she said a chocolate cream filling. When I ate it there was no cream inside. It was a chocolate bun with candy eyes on it. I told her to call the manager or owner and found out I could have a replacement. This is what I got. (See picture of chocolate croissant).

It tastes like sweet chocolate bread baked in the shape of a croissant with a hard chocolate shell on top with cocoa dusting.

Also, she grabbed another black bun and tried to educate me on their product. She used scissors and cut it open. Result: No cream filling. So, I felt bad because she did this in front of 3 new customers and it made for a very awkward situation.

In retrospect, I should have just asked for a refund.
