Jerk King — Restaurant in Toronto

I love the food at Jerk King however.... They seem to have no commitment to the environment so I gave them one star. I try to reduce the garage I'm responsible for by bring my own container to take out restaurants. Jerk King refuses to use my container citing COVID as the reason. It is now know that covid is airborne so this is not a valid reason. The staff say it is management policy I told them they should ask them to change this policy which they refused to do. I would happily change my review to 5 stars if they allowed my container to be used. This would mean less waste for the world and more profit of Jerk King as they would not have to supply me...

My fiance bought oxtail from here. He was excited to try it. Wait time took 30 minutes when we were initially told 10. We thought, it better be worth the wait, and it was good, nothing wrong with anything at that time. I had a couple bites and he ate the rest. Woke up this morning, and i had mild stomach aches. My fiance was having bad stomach aches, he was throwing up all day and had to use the bathroom multiple times.
