Amazing hidden gem on Parliament. My new go to place for delicious Mexican breakfast. They even have Mexican coffee and chocolate and make it pretty authentic like I had in Mexico. Even the plates and mugs will remind you of Mexico traditional restaurants. We ordered a molletto and glory breakfast. The molletto salsa Verde was so flavourful! The first bite I took, felt transported right back. The glory breakfast had salad, fruits, and scrambled eggs with veggies - also pretty good. While both of these dishes come with brewed coffee, you can use that credit and upgrade to other specialty coffees. We had the Mexican mocha (with Oaxacan chocolate) and a latte. A good meal for 2 costed us around 50 - including great coffees Apart from the food being just the bomb, the service was amazing and warm. You can see the difference when the owners run a place. This is a place of love and passion. They really care about the food and experience. I was also informed that they have art from different artists each month. As I write this after a great meal, already looking forward to my next visit. Seriously, this is probably the best Mexican breakfast I have had in Toronto. Highly recommended if you haven't been

I stopped in with my wife because we needed to make a phone call and grab a snack. I was very pleasantly surprised when I walked in and there was enough tables to have a seat pull up my laptop. Have my phone call and enjoy a tasty snack. The service was excellent and super friendly. They explained the different options in the simple but delicious menu. I got myself a sandwich with beans, cheese and greens which was savory and still refreshing. I definitely recommend their fruit smoothies. I got the Acapulco something which was dragon, fruit, mango, peach and something else which was very refreshing and not too sweet. I hear the berry one can be a little bit sweeter if you like. Sweeter. My sandwich also came with a drip coffee which I take black and still tasted good. But they also had options of milk and non-dairy milk options. I RECOMMEND ORDERING THEIR FRIES They put some seasoning on there and a bunch of them were nice and crunchy which went very well with the drink in the sandwich. I would definitely go back and I would definitely bring my laptop study or just have friends over for conversation. Very easy to walk past it. It is definitely a cabbagetown hidden gem.

La gloria is really a hidden gem located in the cabbagetown area. You must come and check it out!!! Very special Mexican owned cafe! La Gloria is very unique and is one of a kind. They specialize in both food and drinks. They have a truly blend of special coffees, smoothies , sandwiches , nachos, waffles , cornmeal , and many more items! The food and drinks are soooo good !!!!! The menu items are very affordable. The atmosphere and deco are a true representation of the Mexican culture. This business is already very well recognized through many different platforms, such as newspapers and social media. The owners and servers are one of the most friendly people I have ever known. They greet you with a warm and friendly smile, and they always have their hearts opened . BeSt customer service ever!! To me, they feel like family. A unique thing is that they also have Spanish lessons , live music, and painting workshops at certain times as well. Highly recommend to come and try out La Gloria Mexican Coffee Cafe if you're in the area. Thank you so much for everything, we love you guys !! Mimi a.k.a miss...
