Convenient location in PATH which takes reservations is about all this restaurant is good for. Service is rude and curt. They would not take our order until the entire party was seated and kept asking us if we had more people coming even though we confirmed this over and over because they wanted our extra table since they had a line. The waiter was impatient when he was taking our order and made me personally feel like they wanted us to get in get out. I understand that they are in a prime location, but it doesn't excuse this behaviour. The food was honestly mediocre. I got the garlic ramen and it was too salty, pork was not tender, couldn't really taste the garlic, and the egg was too well done. They did warn us in advance that they do not split bills, but was quite rude in reminding us when one of our group members had to leave and tried to pay her share by cash. Instead of explaining the situation, the cashier just repeatedly told her no. I would not come back here.

Easily the worst most uninspired sushi I have had anyway downtown Toronto. Check all my other reviews of Asian and Japanese restaurants. This is cheap, Chinese style TERRIBLE sushi. This place is pathetic. People are pretty nice and wait staff was great. Food?? 0/5. $14 for a “spider roll” ?!?! Are you kidding?! LOL. It’s laughable. Except even fast food takeout sushi from metro or longos is far better. EVEN THE WASABI had no flavour. Lol. It’s likely mixed with mashed plain peas or something. I didn’t try any of the bento boxes but from what I saw of the 6 tables around me, all of the meals looks super basic. Cheap portions. No fish. NO roe. Terrible.

I do not exaggerate when I say this food is terrible. Please stay away. Ordered spicy pork ramen, cost me $19 total for trash. Waited over 20 minutes with no other customers for what appeared to be instant noodles and a powdered broth. Noodles were some rice noodles, what appeared to be the instant aisha noodles from Costco, and the broth was as rich and flavourful as an 13th century peasant. Tasted like the free soup you get from a Chinese restaurant. Egg has zero marination, and the "char siu" was tough and dry. I would rather have a third of a packet of nissin instant noodles than eat this again. PLEASE STAY AWAY. However, the servers were nice!

For $38.95 for the all-you-can-eat menu (happily only on Fridays for a fraction of the misery) I would expect near-perfection in everything. I can get that for $15 less at many other places, including nearby. Instead I got burnt-tasting sauces, stale and salty "low-sodium" soy sauce, pickled ginger that tasted of artificial sweetener, half the items were "meh", no beef/steak teriyaki, only two soft-serve ice creams for dessert, and a bowl of soup that was actually rancid and had to go back, and it was the wrong kind too... two decades of AYCE and I can't recall similar, and this is at the second most expensive one I've ever been to (the most expensive was an all-meat Rodizio and it was just about perfection as would be expected at this price point.) Hrm... only on Friday and the place is open Monday to Friday. Could they just be unloading all the uneaten stale food that accumulated through the week on some unsuspecting trusting customer at twice the price it's worth?

The AYCE menu here is like the fifty-cent garage-sale paperbacks people half-jokingly try to sell on eBay for hundreds of dollars. I'm the poor fool who bought one....

The place is loud and disorganized. I was there for an impromptu business lunch. Rational for even entering the place, it was close and no line up. What a mistake! We were seated and ignored for 10 minutes plus. Once the order was finally the taken the food arrived quickly (the only reason for 2 stars and not 1). The food was not good. My lunch guest had Salmon Teriyaki and they choked it down due to hunger. It came with rice and some unknown unappetizing sautéed veggies. I had the Matsu combo Sushi. It was terrible. It was comparable to mall sushi or grocery store sushi. This place should be shut down. I gave a tip out of pity. One of the worst sushi experiences of my life...
