The worst dining experience of my life. Let me start with the good Bus boy- oldish fella with moustache- good guy, he lit my candle and got us water. Also i been here prior to this experience and that was a good time aswell. Now i’ll explain the reason for the 1 star review “ moustache dude almost made it a 2 star” Came down for valentines day with my girlfriend for a reso at 9:30 Pm, traffic was horrible called ahead they said 9:45 was fine, cool, we walk in and table wasn’t ready- hostess said 10 minutes, and walked us to sit by the bar while we wait, bar is packed so we say it’s fine we’ll just wait by entrance. 15 ish minutes pass a couple that came after us was asked if they were “david” which they said no, couldn't find their names yet they got seated before us. i walked up she apologized said our seat was ready, we get taken upstairs to see that 7-8 tables were completely empty and i had only see 1 couple that left in the same timespan we waited “ i was bored so i counted” this part wasn’t horrible as it’s busy night so i understand confusion and whatnot the hostess seemed nice so not gonna bash her. As we get seated we had no water served for 15 minutes, the candle at the table we got sat at was the only unlit candle and the waitress finally came without introducing herself or asking if we wanted drinks, she asked “are you ready to order” to be real we were hungry so this wasn’t a huge issue Apps- greek salad Fried seafood plate - calamari - “SHRIMP” Some fish- and fried zucchini My girlfriend got a cheese stake for her main i asked for a prime rib “ they ran out so i asked if they had any other steak which the waitress said no so i ordered lobster pasta. ordered a wine for my girlfriend and i got myself a stella “beer” …. sorta wine comes instantly for my girlfriend (thank god she’s still kicking it with me after this) around 10 minutes after this moustache man makes his appearance fills the water and gets us a new candle- created small talk which brightened the mood. 10-15 minutes or so later the salad comes out was good if you go here we recommend it 👍🏻 no beer by the way yet. about another 10 minutes later we are brought my girlfriends main dish…. than the seafood came .. but the shrimp was missing oh and no beer- my girlfriend kindly reminds the waitress which she apologizes and scurries to the back, my girlfriend felt bad but i told her no reason to wait for mine and eat hers while it’s warm. about 30-40 minutes of seeing the waitress walk up and down not really accomplishing much as there’s only around 8-10 tables at this point in our area occupied she comes to the table to ask “ what was your order again” i remind her it was the lobster pasta she apologizes and before she walks away my girlfriend reminds her of my beer… i sorta gave up on it but after 3-4 reminders and over 1.5 hours my beer had finally arrived. about another 10 minutes go by and the waitress comes to tell me my food will be ready in 5 minutes. i kindly tell her to just bring the bill don't worry about the food. she apologizes asks if i’m sure i say yup -than a nice dude walks up - not sure chef or other worker and says the food is ready and they feel bad blablabla will i stay to eat it- i tell them if you guys wanna pack it up sure - at this point we’ve been there for over 2 hours and i ate nothing but some salad, calamari…… and 1 single chugged lonely beer they packed it up - took off the charges for alcohol and we only paid for the 2 apps - 1 was missing shrimp but i didn’t bother to mention it , and the cheese steak. i’m eating my valentines dinner the following day and it’s quite good so shout out that kind dude who sent it home with me
Honourable mentions - someone ordered after us and they received a filet mignon - i was kinda jealous. we weren’t told the fish of the day- last time i went we ordered a bunch of tomahawks / fish’s for a large party it was the reason i really picked the restaurant as i remembered it being good. i’m running out of characters to write but yeah. Thank god this wasn’t a...

The food without a doubt was exceptionally amazing and the service made up for the previous visit! The servers were very attentive and friendly which made the overall experience a great one.
We were recommended to try the baklava cheesecake for the next time we visit.

We went here for Valentine's Day and was not aware that there were only servicing the limited menu due to Valentine's --this menu did not include the moussaka which was one of the reasons why we chose this restaurant.
Nonetheless, we've ordered the calamari, the octopus, risotto and a side of potatoes. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. The winners for us were the seafood dishes. I would come back again for the moussaka, however the service we've received from this dining experience really left a really bad impression. I will give it the benefit of doubt since it was Valentine's Day and I believe our server was new.
It took 45 minutes for our order to be sent. Our server seemed to be all over the place, we've asked questions about the menu and every time she left to confirm something, it took about 10 mins for her to come back. 30 minutes later since seating, she gave us our drink order and said she would take our order but had to do something first. Again, she came back 10 minutes later. When she was finally ready, we gave her our order and she tells us she doesn't have a pencil and leaves to flag someone down to borrow theirs. At this point it was frustrating and we are giving her the benefit of the doubt that she may be new.
1.5 hours since seating, we received our calamari (our first appetizer!!) The server informs us that the octopus will be ready in 5 minutes, which it was ready 30 minutes later.
At this point I wasn't sure if the food was actually good because we were extremely hungry. This dining experience took 2.5 hours which we weren't expecting since the place was not fully busy.
We finished the night off with the ek mek and it might've been the best we've had.
We are willing to try this place again but this experience left us with a sour taste...
Read moreWe had an exceptional time dining at this restaurant. Our server Sheldon was very informative, and had such a good knowledge base of the menu, which of course is very refreshing.
We started our meal with the glazed octopus, and this was cooked to perfection. The texture was slightly firm, not rubbery at all. The seasoning they used really come through for this flavourful dish. It was sitting on a bed of potatoes and roasted tomatoes with some microgreens for decorations.
We then had awhile fish, the branzino, grilled and seasoned well sitting on a bed of greens. The flavour of the fish really can through, and the sliced lemon really put the dish over the top. The freshness of the fish was incredible!
For our main we ordered the pasta with the lobster and brandy sauce. If I had to pick a last meal before leaving this planet, I would honestly pick this one. I have not been so impressed with a pasta dish ever. The texture of these noodles were firm but almost chewy. The sauce was out of this world, thick, stuck to and flavoured this pasta dish in addition to the delicious flavour provided by the pasta. From what I was told the pasta was home made. I would go back again for just this dish, even thought the rest of the meal was absolutely perfect.
Out last course was a baklava cheese cake, which was beautifully decorated, and tasted good. But I didn’t enjoy this as much as I did the rest because I was so full from everything else. I think this dish could have used more honey, or more nuts. It was wrapped in philopastry, and gave it that crunch, and did have a good amount of filling which was appreciated (as most places skip the filling and increase the dough). But I was really looking forward to the baklava like soaking in sweet honey and toasted walnuts. So this was the only thing I would like to see a little different. Maybe have the dessert sit in that honey sauce from the baklava when warming it, so the bottom can be like an actual baklava, with that ooowy gooey goodness and more nuts.
We enjoyed our meals with red wine from Greece, and sampled some wine before choosing...
