I’m glad to see I’m not the only one that had a very poor experience at hooters today because of the rude waitresses working the patio. I’ve seen many reviews just now about a waitress named Emma, and I’ll be honest I didn’t catch the name of the waitress because we ended up just leaving and eating elsewhere due to how rude she was but I wouldn’t be shocked if it was that same Emma they were talking about (she had very long eyelash extensions and all tattooed). We were a group of three and like the other reviews I’ve read wanted to switch tables because of accessibility issues. First she was rude about the table and said we couldn’t sit there because it was a four seater and we were three, but keep in mind the table she told us we HAD to sit at was also a four seater so how does that make sense? I asked her why that was a problem but she gave no answer. Then she switched that story and said it was because the table was dirty to which we did we’d wait because we weren’t in a rush. She never came back and while we waited at the original table I heard her talking to another waitress working the patio (a blonde) and rudely talking about us and saying “whatever I’m not bussing then”. She then had that other waitress come back and tell us that if wanted the different four seater that we’d have to wait because the waitress covering that area was busy. At that point we decided to leave because we’ve been lied to three times at this point, if she had been honest from the start there wouldn’t have been a problem and we also didn’t feel comfortable eating at a place where the waitress is very clear about their dislike towards you, god knows what she’d do to the food after how rude and nasty she was. I was shocked because this isn’t the hooters environment everyone talks about and we had come all the way from London Ontario for a concert and we wanted to kill time. We did speak to the manager on the way out but clearly he didn’t seem to care much either so maybe he doesn’t care that the environment at his restaurant is so bad. Also if the waitress we had was not the same Emma from the other reviews posted on August 22nd then this location just has very poor service and rude waitresses because how is it possible multiple people had the same exact poor experience at the hooters patio on...
Read moreI’m usually not one to leave reviews like this, but the behavior I encountered Hooters was so concerning that I felt it necessary to share. Not too long ago, my wife and I dined at this establishment, and we were unfortunately served by a waitress named Ana.
From the moment we sat down, Ana’s behavior was uncomfortable and unprofessional. She was excessively flirtatious with me, despite the fact that I was there with my wife. This wouldn’t have been such a big deal if it was a one-off interaction, but it became clear that this wasn’t just casual friendliness. Ana's behavior crossed boundaries multiple times during our meal. What made the situation worse was how she seemed to disregard my wife's presence altogether. This was not only disrespectful to me but also extremely uncomfortable for my wife.
However, the real issue started after we left the restaurant. A few days later, I discovered that Ana had found and was actively stalking my social media profiles. She used the name from my credit card (which was on the receipt) to track me down online. This is not just inappropriate; it’s a serious invasion of privacy. After investigating, it’s clear that she had been doing this for a while, and it’s deeply concerning to me that she would use her position in the restaurant to obtain personal information and then abuse it in this way.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable in any professional setting. I’m not one to jump to conclusions, but when someone crosses these kinds of boundaries, they should be held accountable. It’s one thing to have a staff member who is friendly or outgoing, but it’s a completely different matter when they become intrusive and disrespectful. I hope that Hooters takes this seriously and ensures that no other customers have to experience the same level of discomfort that my wife and I did.
This type of behavior reflects poorly not only on Ana but also on the establishment itself. I’m honestly not sure how the management would allow someone like this to work with customers, and I would expect this to be investigated thoroughly.
For anyone considering dining here, I just wanted to make sure you’re aware of the unprofessional behavior I encountered, and I hope this helps in preventing any future incidents of...
Read moreThis place really just sucks. Group of 4 and witnessed multiple groups getting their food before us and leaving as well. The food was served cold. One of us fully did not receive our meal. We decided to just go by without it as we waited for a long time without any waitresses coming by the table. Our waitress realized our food wasn’t here and made a face and left lol, no apology either. Really just unprofessional. Every table had salt, pepper, ketchup, and serviettes. Ours was missing everything but pepper and we had to ask the table beside us to borrow their ketchup and salt. Everything just took so long to the point where we were debating just leaving. The food was okay. It’s cheap so I don’t want to complain about that, you get what you pay for. Spicy garlic sauce was decent but tasted like buffalo sauce. Curly fries weren’t curly and had no salt on them but the table salt helped with that. Just overall not a good experience. Wanted to have a good time but I won’t be coming back with the wait times, the uninterested staff and the bad service. Also waited 30 minutes for the bill, irina tried her best but I’m sorry, if the management isn’t there to support their staff it’s on the management. Another gentleman also stepped in to help us but didn’t seem to resonate with why we were having an issue with the service. He said that “he would cover the bill if we wanted to walk out”. I don’t think that’s appropriate. I expressed that we just wanted to discuss the issue we were experiencing and for it to be addressed. Think a lot of work needs to be done on the management here.again, irina is not at fault. But seriously, when customers are describing a bad experience, you should be putting more effort into actually making their experience better, offering a discount, At least apologizing or something. Just cant believe the unprofessionalism, never experienced anything like this in the food industry. Didn’t pay for the bill at the end of the day, after being guilted by the person that “you can leave and I’ll pay for this out of my own pocket”. Seriously just at least acknowledge that you...
