Pizza Nova — Restaurant in Toronto

Staff are incompetent and rude. I came in after work to order chicken wings for a birthday dinner. The cashier didn't understand what I was requesting so he went to the back and brought up another employee. I requested an order of chicken wings. When I got home I found out I received Plantollini, plant based chicken bites. Chicken wings do not sound close to Plantollini. I don't understand the confusion. When I called the phone number on their store website I actually contacted Pizza Nova's call center. I explained the situation. The employee at the call center informed me a fresh order of chicken wings would be delivered to me free of charge. I explained that techniquely I all really paid for them but that concept went over his head. Fine I will be getting an order of wings sent to my home great. Not great I didn't recieve the new order until almost 11/2 hours later. When a call center employee patched me through to the store, a phone number that they have but is not available to the public, the lady yelled at me telling me that I had infact ordered Plantollini and hung up. The front employee doesn't understand English and the manager is rude and will not admit to any wrong doing. Absolutely will never use that store again. Buyers need to be aware. With these reviews posted I don't understand why the store owner doesn't take heed and hire competent and customer...

The store is new to the neighbourhood and I was hoping it would work out, but I think I'll have to go back to 241 Pizza instead. My order was 25 minutes late (on top of the 45 minute window) and customer service offered no assistance, so I had to cancel it. Normally I'm a patient guy, but the stakes were high with three hungry kids in overtime on a school night so I couldn't wait any longer to do a backup plan. I'm not sure what happened on Pizza Nova's end, but according to their timeline for when the driver left and arrived on my street, this guy was lost on a short two block street for the 20 minutes I was on talking to customer service (mostly on hold). Then later he happened to show up so I asked him to confirm if I could still buy the order and he said his boss told him no! The experience made for some exciting but late Wednesday night drama. Now I know that Pizza Nova isn't very reliable. Coincidentally, we went to Reliable Fish & Chips instead....

Looking through all the reviews, it wasn't just me that had terrible customer service. There was miscommunication where we both heard a different ingredients and blamed me just because he "confirmed" it, when obviously he heard the wrong ingredient. If they confirmed it correctly in the first place this situation wouldn't have happened, but I guess when you work there you make no mistakes and your always right, not the customers. So when finishing explaining they didn't care and just gave me the pizza and walked away not solving any problem while having the wrong pizza in my hand. Its insane I had to ask for another pizza to be done. Who wants to bring home a pizza they didnt ask or order. For heaven sake it was one med pizza with one topping. I would greatly recommend going somewhere else, or order online so you don't have to deal with...
