The Flower Cake Café — Restaurant in Toronto

This is a gem of a café in this neighbourhood. The baked goods are so unique, delicious and fresh. The first striking thing about the café is the décor. I love the dark, antique china cabinet, featuring lovely floral plates, tea cups and knick-knacks. And that's even before you taste the pastries. The floral cupcakes are a work of art. They even had a beautiful Pride-inspired cupcake. They use unique flavours, such as in their Earl Grey macaron. The owners are lovely and it's obvious they have poured their hearts and souls into their shop. They also serve tea from Genuine Tea Co, which is a Canadian company that blends delicious teas. Hidden Jems - we had Tiramisu and almond croissant for snacks and elderberry hibiscus lemonade and bluematcha latte. It's very wordy names but look and feel special. Tiramisu was one of the best and lemonade taste very fresh. I would say bluematcha latte with syrup might be little better. Mine had no syrup. She told me syrup can be asked.
