Great break up spot because you’ll never want to come here again! Don’t believe the hype. I would give zero stars if I could. Horrible service food was disappointing just another overhyped Toronto restaurant. Let’s begin with the issues we encountered during our visit Went to the washroom, no toilet paper so had to get someone to bring me a napkin from the table Server was immediately rude and took a long time to acknowledge us They advertise a 5 course menu online but when you ask for it in-store they force your whole table to order the 5 course menu. This was very disappointing as my girlfriend only wanted one roll that wasn’t on the 5 course menu and one person is underage and would not be able to eat all the food on the menu or have the alcoholic beverage that is included. This should be advertised only with their rules so customers are aware Half the food we ordered came quickly and the other half the waitress forgot about. After 30 mins we had to get a different server to remind our waitress that we were still waiting on food. Overall the food was mid for the high price point you pay as the fish tasted funny and the quality of the sushi was extremely poor. When you pay a premium for sushi and scallops you expect a premium food experience. Don’t waste your money unless you like mid sushi. The service was so bad that we had to ask another waiter for the bill as our server would continually disappear and not come back, it wasn’t like the place was crowded either. The overall service was terrible the server was extremely rude. It’s now two days later and my girlfriend appears to have food poisoning from something she ate here.
One big terrible disappointment, I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here. Not much more left to say other than the fact that I feel disgusted that I paid for the food, if you care about food and care about a good dining experience in Toronto, do not go here. Save yourself the bad experience and go to one of the many better sushi spots in Toronto, they are not hard to find simply type sushi on google and I guarantee it will be better...

Found this new sushi bar located in Downtown Toronto! Their signature menu were calling out for me, especially their sous vide duck breast, they all seem very unique! ✨Other than their signatures, they also serve sushi, Oshi and even oysters! When I went there, they had a promotion where if you get a cocktail/cocktail, all oysters were $1 per one. 🫣This time, I got…
🤎Sous Vide Duck Breast🤎 If you are ever visiting, this is a MUST TRY! 😆On their menu, they said this is a “Phone Eat First” item in which the waiter will reveal the dish with fragrant rosemary smoke! 🙃(Definitely film this! Hehe) The duck breast were so soft and perfectly cooked. Along with duck breast, there were some blueberries, tomatoes, potatoes and lotus chips. We found the duck breast unexpectedly go well with the blueberries. 😉If you like savoury and sweetness at the same time, you will definitely like it! 🙃
🌮Spicy Salmon Tacos & Braised Short Rib Tacos 🌮 These tacos were differently from what I thought they were, their outer layer were crispy. In contrast, the meat and sauce were soft on the inside. It tastes more like salmon/beef rib wrapped with a piece of chip. 😌
🍣Salmon Oshi🍣 This is also a MUST TRY! 😆The salmon was so fresh and it melted in our mouths. The Oshi were also perfectly seasoned and packed together nicely. I am drooling as I am writing this! 🤤
🍟Truffle Yam Fries with Parmesan Cheese 🍟 This was okay when it came as the fries were already getting cold. It has a heavy truffle flavour with Parmesan Cheese! 🍟Overall, it satisfies our cravings for truffle yam fries! 🤓
After having a feast, it was around $39 CAD person and we were both full! 😊Their interior environment was also so comfortable and their services were great! Thank you for the yummy food! Will come...
Read moreI've heard about this place online and been wanting to try it so my friend and I biked through the city on a cold night to get there.
Once we arrived around 5:40pm(no line, no wait) they showed us an IPad with various photos of some items on their menu which I found helpful. I asked about any specials and they said if we order a dozen oysters ($15) then it would be a $1 each oyster as long as we ordered a drink ($3 off oysters).
We decided to order(receipt attached): Dozen oysters $12 Sapporo beer $8 Matsumoto Sake $11 (I asked for the sweetest one) salmon Oshi $16 Deep fried jumbo shrimp wrapped dough $13 Sous Vide Duck fried rice $20 Hokkaido roll (their only torched roll) $17
Firstly, the oysters were okay but a bit fishy side for me. They took a while to bring out the hot sauce for them so we finished the Salmon oshi first. For the salmon, it was too much rice and each piece was irregularly shaped compared to one another(image shown) and some didn't have the fish eggs on top whereas one had a whole spoonful on top(not shown because I distribute it myself but the portions were off)
The beer came out and the sake came when most of the food was already finished.
The deep fried shrimp with wrapped dough was good but a bit over cooked. The Hokkaido roll was okay and probably the best thing out of everything we ordered but nothing memorable.
Lastly, the duck fried chicken was the worst ($20) The egg was disintegrated, the rice was harder than normal as if it was a day old and left out. The texture was very minced like sand and the grain of rice wasn't plush or moist.
I wouldn't comeback to the restaurant, I wouldn't recommend my friends to come here as there are many alternatives close by. The ambience was nice, the service and waiters/waitresses were nice to us. The food speaks for...
