Have gotten take out many times at this place, never dined in. It has some flaws, but I’m still giving it 5 stars.

Pros: 10% off if you pay cash. Generous portion for the price, especially the meat portion. Any of the hand-pulled soup noodles have great texture. Take out is packed well. I keep returning because they’re probably the most reasonably-priced restaurant in the area serving delicious, satisfying food. Quality is consistent. Service has been pretty good for me.

Cons: Broth is slightly too salty if you like to drink the soup, but I don’t think it’s because of MSG. (When I get takeout, I add in most of the soup and top it off with a bit of hot water.) Wait times given are a bit inaccurate, especially during the dinner rush when they are packed. Seating inside is a bit cramped (but this might be because of layout requirements during the pandemic).

I would recommend the Lanzhou soup noodles (I’ve tried a few of them and they’ve all been good) and the fried rice. The veggie fried rice is 9.99, which may seem like a lot but it’s cheaper than what I’ve seen at other Chinese restaurants in the city. It always comes with a small vegetable broth (not sure if that’s just to balance the takeout bag?) Also, the portion is huge…they REALLY pack it in the container. Enough for 3 people. I’ve also tried the stir-fried noodles, which were fine, but I think the texture of the hand-pulled noodles doesn’t shine as much when stir-fried. Same with the sliced noodles (which are served in soup)…texture wasn’t the best, but I also got it to-go so maybe that’s why. Also, the Chili oil is good. It isn’t really spicy so don’t be intimidated, but it’s flavourful. Note: Lanzhou noodles traditionally have a more watery broth. It’s not creamy and thick (e.g. like tonkotsu ramen broth) because it isn’t supposed to be and you’re meant to actually drink it as you slurp your noodles.

To the owners: great place, keep it up! It’s impressive that you opened during the pandemic yet business is booming. One thing though…please update your menu prices on your website and on Ritual. They don’t match the prices on the in-store menus. Prices on Ritual are required to match the actual prices, unlike on Uber eats/Skip where marking...

Before I begin, I would like to say that many of the one star reviews on this fine establishment are either inaccurate or simply misleading. Now, in regard to my experience here, it was exceptional to say the least. I arrived here with my girlfriend just 20 minutes before closing, to be honest any other place would have closed by then. When I entered, I was greeted by a kind young man who sat both me and my girlfriend immediately, provided us with water and menus.

The food is incredibly good, the server recommended us the sliced noodles with braised beef brisket and they were incredible to say the least. The noodles were chewy and obviously hand made, the brisket was incredibly tender and the broth was very flavourful. As if not perfect enough, the portion sizes were massive considering that it only cost both me and my girlfriend $15 a bowl. The portion sizes were so large that I decided to take some home for my lunch the next day.

In essence, this restaurant is wonderful. It deserves only 5/5 stars as it is truly a life saver for university students who don’t have the money to pay for expensive meals. I would 100% recommend this...

I have had the displeasure of entering this establishment twice and leaving in utter embarrassment. I first visited this place with my two non black friends, they were greeted respectfully while I didn't even get noticed. As we were seated, I ordered my food and then my friends soon after, while they received their food, I waited ten minutes after. I then got up-charged on my bill. The second time I visited, my girlfriend and I walked in for a quick lunch, as soon as we entered, we were told that they are not available because "it's reservation only" . As the information on the website is not English, This is also not stated on the website nor was this ever previously mentioned. The restaurant was not busy and we weren't even given the grace of being told how to set up this "imaginary reservation. This was an extremely disappointing experience in both circumstances. If you are black or have self respect, I suggest you do not visit this establishment. There is a great place...

First time visiting and we were undecided on what to order. A regular customer sitting at the table next to us said the Beef Brisket Soup is one of the most popular choices. We went with the Beef Brisket and the Traditional Beef. We both chose thin noodles, but they have at least seven or eight options on how you can order your noodles. The soups came out very quickly. The beef brisket, although not spicy (there's a pepper icon on the menu suggesting it might be) was flavourful and rich. The brisket was a little chewier than expected, but still good. The traditional beef had a lighter, but still flavourful broth. The noodles had that perfect chewy texture expected with pulled noodles. The restaurant is not air conditioned, and the service is bad, but despite these things, Yee's is definitely still worth a visit.

This shop seems to be quite popular in town! I didn’t go during peak hours but there were still plenty of customers coming in. The overall vibe is simple and unpretentious, just a classic street-side eatery style shop. The noodles are freshly made - you can actually watch the chef hand-pulling them and even hear that satisfying bounce as they hit the counter. I had the sliced noodles w spicy short ribs and really ENJOYED it 🍜 Tbh it was not spicy at all for me, so I added a bit their homemade chili oil and later a bit vinegar just to see how it would taste. I absolutely loved the noodles smooth yet chewy texture. The portion size was huge too. When the bowl arrived I was literally shocked, it was about 1.5 times the size of my head lol The short ribs were ok but personally I was more into the noodles

Absolutely loved Yee’s Hand-Pulled Noodles! Got to know about it through @insta.noodls on TikTok and it totally lived up to the hype. The traditional beef noodles in their mega bowl, priced at $16.50, was a heavenly experience. The portion size is huge, easily 5+ lbs, so I'd suggest sharing and asking for a small bowl. The chili sauce complemented the noodles perfectly, adding a delightful kick. The service was top-notch. Waited less than 5 minutes for a table and the waitresses, the Fujian lady and young girl, were hardworking, kind, and polite. Our total came to around $33.00 and we tipped generously for their exceptional service. The only slight downside is the small size of the restaurant and lack of air conditioning, but it didn't bother me much. Overall, a fantastic culinary experience!
