Disappointing Special Occasion Dinner at Bellagio Cafe My husband and I recently chose Bellagio Cafe for a special occasion dinner in the early evening, and unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing. Despite my husband noting the special occasion when making the reservation, this was not acknowledged by the restaurant.

Upon arrival, we found the restaurant surprisingly empty. We were seated in a corner booth that, regrettably, had a noticeable issue with gnats. This persisted throughout our meal, requiring us to constantly swat them away, which significantly detracted from our dining experience. In hindsight, we should have requested a different table.

The quality of the food was acceptable but nothing more. The focaccia burrata appetizer was, in fact, toast, which was unexpected and not as described. Overall, the service was indifferent and did little to enhance the meal.

When we brought the gnat issue to our server's attention and were informed that the staff were aware of the problem but, as employees, they could do nothing about it. We were also told there was no manager on site to address our concerns.

Given the positive reviews and appealing images we had seen prior to our visit, we had high hopes for Bellagio Cafe. However, based on our lackluster meal, the pest issue, and the unsatisfactory response from the staff, I cannot recommend...

Absolutely horrendous service. Our server was snarky from the very beginning, seemed disrespectful at times and very inflexible. Along with this, the service was very slow, even though there were barely any customers present. The menus were all mixed up to the point at which the servers were confused. The pasta I ordered was the pesto linguini and it was so excruciatingly bland, lacked even a minimal amount of seasoning that is required in food. There was barely any pesto in the pesto linguini. The portion size was decent, however, I struggled to finish it given how bland it was. I don't quite understand the point of going to a restaurant to order a dish and have to spend the majority of the time seasoning the dish yourself. My friend got the smoked salmon and it was essentially just bread with salmon, the cream cheese was not well divided amongst the bread and therefore resulted in another bland and distasteful meal. Upon asking for the bill, the server took 15 minutes to coordinate how to get the bill and upon his arrival, he had overcharged one of us for a wrong item and insisted he was right (due to the menu confusion I referred to earlier). This took a bit to sort out, as well. Overall, the food here was just very mediocre. The servers were unfriendly, unhelpful and slow. Very disappointed and won't be going back...

WORST customer service I’ve ever received. We walked into the place and asked for a table when the manager told us “we aren’t taking any tables right now come back later” when there were obviously empty tables inside and outside. She very rudely explained how there was issues in the kitchen and it would be at least a 20 minute wait. We were hungry enough to come back maybe 10 minutes later and a different hostess sat us down right away because apparently the issues in the kitchen were not communicated to her. We ordered our food a few minutes later. I ordered the Neptune Benedict and asked for a breakdown of the dish (which wasn’t explained in the menu). The waiter had a very hard time telling me what went into the dish. My boyfriend also ordered something similar and asked for an extra egg, but the waiter told us it would be full price plus 1/2 which is ridiculous for ONE EGG. That’s $16 for the meal itself plus $8 for an extra egg!? My partner opted to have the dish how it was originally but with no pork and a side of French toast. The waiter brought him the French toast but no Eggs Benedict. When we told the waiter he argued with us over the miscommunication They didn’t serve half of the menu (even salads) until 11am and hesitantly gave the salad to us anyways with 4-5 minutes...
