Freshslice Pizza - Granville St — Restaurant in Vancouver

Very poor experience with rude staff who didnt know their own discounts. I went into this fresh slice location at 10:30 on Saturday and ordered 2 XL pizzas to go. I asked to use my bcaa discount (buy 1 get 1 half off on full size pizzas). They said it was only on slices of pizza which isnt what the webist said, but I didn't want to be that customer so I didnt argue. I asked for tomatoe sauce on one if the pizzas as the white sauce makes my fiance sick due to a disease he has. After 30 minutes and many customers comimg and going we asked where the pizza was. The staff member said she didnt know about the order because her coworker didn't tell her about the order. It then took another 15-20 minutes for our pizza. Not once did they appologize. We asked if we could get some drinks due to waiting almost an hour and them forgetting us and they said they could only give our group of 4 one drink. We called and asked for a manger to call us back and they said they gave us a free drink and we have your number on caller id. We called back in the morning and they did not pass on the message. We gave our contact info for the manager to call us back and again no call back. At least the person in the morning appologized for the mess and making my fiance sick for 2 days. I do not recommend online orders from this store, unless you are there in person.

My dissatisfaction with my recent order, which I got delivered up on Sunday, October 6, at 2:59 AM. I ordered the Mediterranean Feast, and my experience was far from acceptable.

Firstly, the pizza was delivered with a tomato sauce as a side dressing. which I initially thought might be a complimentary addition and probably the dish does not typically come with a side dressing However, I soon discovered that the pizza was not baked properly and appeared unclean, as if it had been handled carelessly.

I contacted the store to address my concerns, and after some initial pushback, the employee consulted with her manager. I later received a follow-up call from the same employee, who requested that I provide my email and send proof of my claims. I have attached this correspondence as evidence of my experience.

I am also compelled to report this matter to food safety authorities, as I believe a pop-up inspection is warranted to assess the cleanliness of your establishment and the quality of the food being prepared.

Unfortunately, I found the food to be inedible, and I had to dispose of the entire box.

Went there at 10:35 PM and ordered a whole pizza to dine in. After paying (with the tip of course), she told us we can't eat inside because "she wants to close". We were surprised to hear this since we had already checked the closing time and according to Google Maps the place should have been open until 12:00 AM.

We arrived there from a long flight and were really hungry so we asked her if we can stay for around 5 minutes since there was still plenty of time left until 12:00 AM. She hesitated and said "But I've already cleaned that section!", followed by an eye roll and finally accepting that we can stay there to eat our pizza which we have already paid for!

This happened at the same time when there were people still coming in the store with new orders, and there was even one person who was having dinner in the same area which she claimed that has already been cleaned, which of course was not. There were pizza crumbles everywhere.

Overall, I regret that I have tipped her. The service was awful and she was very rude and had no right to treat us different than other customers. Extremely disappointed!

P.S. I got so upset that I took the time to write this review after a long flight. I hope something changes...
