Nero Belgian Waffle Bar — Restaurant in Vancouver

As a returning customer, I loved their waffle as well as drinks.

I don’t understand why the male worker is always acting so rude. When the store is empty, you walk in, it always will take him forever to move his eyes off his phone/ laptop, and slowly walk to take orders.

Also there were times the white girl took my order, but he just don’t prepare it but start chatting with the girl about not important matters. The girl looked very uncomfortable and will do everything herself.

I feel very sorry for the girl to work with such a rude and lazy coworker.

I came here to get some waffles because they’ve been going viral these days. (February 1st, around 16:45)

The waffles were so good and delicious—AMAZING! But I was very disappointed with the worker there.

He treated me with a blank, uninterested expression. I didn’t know whether the box contained six or seven waffles, and when I asked, he explained it so half-heartedly.

Then, while I was paying, he literally turned his back on me. And when I left, he didn’t even say goodbye—he was too busy chatting with a white female employee instead.

I found him extremely rude. The store closes at five, but does that mean he can just ignore...

New Nero Waffles location is such a cozy spot in the heart of South Granville! They offer an amazing variety of waffles, and I’m especially obsessed with the Belgian Chocolate, Orange, and Strawberry ones. The freshness is unbeatable since they’re baked daily, which makes them even more delicious. I’ve visited several times, and they’ve always been perfect. I also love that you can order a fresh box at a great price!

The staff and owners are super friendly and helpful too. It’s nice to know that this little gem is owned by a local family, so we can support our local community!
