I recently had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant, and I must say that it was an exceptional experience. Having traveled extensively across the Middle East, Europe, and North America, I have had the opportunity to sample a wide range of cuisines, and the food at this restaurant truly stands out.

The first thing that struck me was the generous portion sizes. The servings were substantial, ensuring that I left the restaurant satisfied and thoroughly impressed. But it wasn't just the quantity that impressed me; it was the quality as well. Each dish was prepared with utmost care and attention to detail, resulting in flavors that were simply out of this world.

I can confidently say that the food at this restaurant is among the best I have ever tasted. The combination of fresh ingredients, expert culinary techniques, and creative flavor profiles truly made every bite a delight. From the appetizers to the main courses and even the desserts, every dish exceeded my expectations.

What's more, the service at Restaurant was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was top-notch. From the moment I stepped through the door, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful suggestions, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.

This was my first visit to Restaurant, but it certainly won't be my last. The incredible food, generous portions, and exceptional service have won me over, and I can't wait to return. If you're looking for a dining experience that is truly phenomenal, I highly recommend Restaurant. Trust me, you won't be...

I was excited to go to a Yemeni restaurant for the first time. I went to the new one in Granville. The decor is beautiful but didn't find any Yemenis working there. I orded the platter for 4 people so we were served one small bowl of humus (about 3 spoons) and fava bean dip (in Yemen that is eaten as breakfast or dinner and not an appetizer) cucumber and tomato salad very bland no taste that had a sprinkle of sumac. And some( Sahawq) tomato salasa dip which tastes like blended tomatoes with hot peper. Later rice came with half a chicken split and 2 pieces of lamb on a bed of rice. The food was flavourless and bland. Later we were served kenafa which I would rate 7/10. I heard good reviews from others. However, my experience was a bit disappointing specifically with the taste of food. We paid $126 to be exact.

Reply to the owners: Sorry if my claim seem to be false, however, I love to leave an honest review. I wish your business the best and I heard really good reviews. I meant - Me myself didn't see Yemeni's when entering maybe there were working in the kitchen. I heard very nice reviews from others. but I guess, I found the food rather bland even my Iraqi friend said the same thing. I might try it once again in the future and I hope my experience will be better. I apologize and I mean no...

I grew up in the Middle East eating such delicacies which is why when I heard that there’s a restaurant that caters to middle eastern cuisine, I was excited to try it.

I ordered in due to my hectic work schedule and to my disappointment, the taste wasn’t nearly as good as I remember it. I got the roast chicken leg Mandi for two and a Kunafa. Now, don’t get me wrong, the chicken was tender and fell right off the bone. However, neither the chicken or the rice was flavourful.

Before ordering, I called the restaurant to double check if we get all the sides in the picture that was advertised on uber eats and the lady who attended to my call confirmed that the order will be true to the picture. She said that I don’t need to add on to my order. However, you can see in the image attached that I just got a small portion of tomato based spicy sauce to go with a lot of rice and chicken - I could barely even finish my meal as it was drying and not flavourful. I did not appreciate the misinformation.

Final thoughts: The Kunafa was nice and the only saving grace for me. If you’re someone that grew up in the Middle East like me and have certain expectations, it won’t be on par with it. But sure, it is worth a try for someone that is exploring a new cuisine altogether. Will I order from here...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our recent dining experience at SABA Restaurant was nothing short of memorable! We indulged in the Platter for 6, and it was a feast that transported us straight to Yemen. The meal began with delicious Fava bean dip and creamy hummus, setting the stage for what was to come. The main course was a delightful mix of flavors and textures: three pieces of succulent roast lamb (Haneeth and Mandi), two perfectly cooked chicken legs mandi, and a tender chicken breast Haneeth. Each bite was a testament to the rich culinary traditions. The platter also included fragrant rice, a zesty hot sauce, and a fresh salad, all of which complemented the meats beautifully. The presentation of the dishes was impeccable, with each item arranged beautifully, making the meal as visually appealing as it was delicious. But the highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the dessert – the cream Kunafa. It was so addictive that we couldn't stop at just one serving! The service was impeccable, with friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The restaurant's décor was charming and enhanced the overall dining experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, adding to the overall wonderful experience. If you're looking for an authentic Yemeni dining experience, SABA Restaurant is the place to go. Highly recommended!
