Pho Georgia Express — Restaurant in Vancouver

My friend and I were walking in the rain from a very long walk from our hotel to the apple store nearby this Pho restaurant. However I was sick during this time with a very runny nose and I couldnt find a tissue or a bathroom anywhere we went. But, I love Pho and saw this restaurant on our way to the Apple store and figured I’d go there on our way back to the Hotel. Now on our way back we decided to go to this restaurant and in the window we saw that they had a restroom! “Thank god”, I thought. Two reasons to go here! I went in with the intention to blow my nose and then eat… again at the time I was sick so I was having a very runny nose and couldnt find a place with tissue/a bathroom anywhere and really wanted some Pho to coat my throat and open my nasal passages. My friend and I walked into the restaurant, He was going to ask for a table while I went to the bathroom to blow my nose, and as I am on my way to the bathroom, one of the workers rudely yelled at my friend and I for me to get out of the bathroom. Mind you I havent done anything but walk to the bathroom at this point. There was no one even at the front to ask for a table before going to the bathroom which is why my friend was going to ask for us both. But the lady yelled at me to get out the bathroom and then told me i couldnt use it because it wasnt a public bathroom even though there was a big “restroom” sign right above the bathroom. She then proceeded to very loudly call me rude and disrespectful. FOR GOING TO THE BATHROOM! Again, my friend and I of course had the full intention of eating there, but Im not sure what her problem was with me. Anyway, I apologized, and proceeded to ask her if I could use their restroom and went to go blow my nose, and my friend and I left. So unless you wanna get yelled at, embarrassed, etc. for literally going to the bathroom I recommend not choosing...

The Worst Experience Ever – Do Not Order from Pho Georgia!

If you want to ruin your meal and waste your money, Pho Georgia is the place for you. I ordered through DoorDash and made it very clear in Vietnamese that I had a bad experience with unsanitary delivery practices before. I even specifically told them to staple and secure the bag to ensure it would be safe, but it came to me in a way that made it easy for unsanitary hands to tamper with it—and that’s exactly what happened. My meal arrived completely upside down, as if someone had been playing with it.

To top it off, I ordered an iced coffee for $10, but when I contacted them about the issue, they only refunded me $4. How ridiculous is that? And when I tasted the prawns, they smelled like chemicals! The meat was also cheap, with tiny slices that were cold and disgusting. Two people tampered with my food—this is beyond unacceptable.

I also read a review that mentioned the restaurant doesn’t like North Vietnamese people, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Maybe it’s because of unresolved issues from the Vietnam War, but it’s clear that this place has serious issues with customer respect and service.

I will NEVER order from Pho Georgia again. Don’t waste your time or money. Stay away from this place if you care about getting your food treated properly.

Trải nghiệm tồi tệ nhất – Đừng đặt đồ ăn từ Pho Georgia!

Nếu bạn muốn làm hỏng bữa ăn và lãng phí tiền bạc, Pho Georgia là nơi dành cho bạn. Tôi đã đặt hàng qua DoorDash và đã ghi rõ bằng tiếng Việt rằng tôi đã có một trải nghiệm tồi tệ với việc giao đồ ăn không vệ sinh trước đây. Tôi thậm chí đã yêu cầu họ ghim và niêm phong túi để đảm bảo nó an toàn, nhưng nó đến tay tôi theo cách mà bất kỳ tay người không vệ sinh nào cũng có thể xâm nhập vào món ăn, và đúng như vậy, món ăn của tôi bị làm hỏng. Bữa ăn của tôi đến tay hoàn toàn bị lật ngược, như thể ai đó đã chơi đùa với nó.

Để thêm phần tồi tệ, tôi đã đặt một ly cà phê đá với giá $10, nhưng khi tôi liên hệ với họ về vấn đề này, họ chỉ hoàn lại tôi $4. Thật là vô lý! Và khi tôi nếm thử tôm, chúng có mùi hóa chất! Thịt cũng rất rẻ, chỉ vài lát nhỏ và lạnh ngắt, thật là kinh tởm. Hai người đã làm hỏng món ăn của tôi—điều này hoàn toàn không thể chấp nhận được.

Tôi cũng đã đọc một đánh giá nói rằng nhà hàng không thích người Việt Bắc, điều này làm tôi cảm thấy vô cùng khó chịu. Có thể là vì những vấn đề chưa được giải quyết từ chiến tranh Việt Nam, nhưng rõ ràng là nơi này có vấn đề nghiêm trọng với việc tôn trọng khách hàng và dịch vụ.

Tôi sẽ KHÔNG BAO GIỜ đặt hàng từ Pho Georgia nữa. Đừng lãng phí thời gian và tiền bạc của bạn. Hãy tránh xa nơi này nếu bạn quan tâm đến việc món ăn của bạn được đối...

Came by myself. Upon sitting down, server asked me if I was ready to order 3x within 3 min of sitting down. This was my first time here so I was pondering what I want to eat. But I didn’t finish reading the menu the first 2x and felt super rushed the 3rd time so I just ordered pho with steak and tendon (my usual).

Order came with steak with zero tendon.

Portion is one of the, if not the smallest in Vancouver

It’s normal that Asian cuisine (and almost all pho restaurants ) uses msg in dishes but this Soup tasted pure msg. which is more than normal as you can tell you get this sharp thirsty feel after.

Price is also on the mid high range for even regular size (tbh I wouldn’t care about this if everything else is fine and they charge a bit more. But considering everything, and it’s not cheap, it’s just the icing on the cake in terms of this...
