I want to take a moment to truly appreciate the incredible team at Tim Hortons, 195 Terminal Ave, Vancouver. Kiran, the manager, has done an outstanding job leading a hardworking and dedicated staff who handle an incredibly challenging location with professionalism, patience, and grace.
This location is small and is always bustling with heavy traffic, from busy commuters looking for a quick meal to less fortunate individuals who seek shelter. The staff here face everything—from friendly regulars to difficult and even threatening situations—yet they continue to serve with unwavering dedication. It is overwhelming (in the best way) to see how they power through, keeping up with the rush while maintaining their commitment to excellent service.
Kiran’s leadership shines through in how well-trained her team is. She has instilled in them a sense of compassion and professionalism, ensuring that every customer—no matter who they are—is met with kindness and a smile. The staff work tirelessly, often under immense pressure, yet they never let it show. Whether it’s preparing quick on-the-go meals or handling unexpected challenges, they hustle through the grind, making sure everyone is served efficiently.
I have deep respect for the resilience and work ethic of this team especially because the location is so challenged. Their job is not easy, yet they show up every day, ready to serve, adapt, and make the best of every situation. If you stop by, take a moment to appreciate their efforts. A kind word or a simple “thank you” can go a long way in lifting their morale. They deserve all the recognition for the hard work they put in daily.
Hats off to Kiran and her amazing team—your dedication does not...
Read moreThis is the worst Tim Hortons I have ever visited in my life! The loaded cilantro chicken wrap I ordered tasted horrible and completely different from the same wrap I've had at other locations. To make matters worse, my husband’s wrap had a bone or something hard inside (we didnt get what was that).
The staff forgot to add a muffin to my order, which I only realized after I had left the store, and I didn't want to go back for it. My iced coffee, which I requested with less syrup, was super sweet to the point that I couldn’t even drink it. The only edible item from my order was the French vanilla coffee (half coffee).
The store itself was really dirty too. I know it’s located near a SkyTrain station and there are some homeless people around, but that is no excuse for not cleaning the shop regularly. I'm scared even to think about the cleanliness of the kitchen stations here!
I also want to mention the appearance of the staff working there. One of the employees had multiple dirty stains on her t-shirt, which is completely unacceptable for someone working in the food industry!
I am very disappointed and will never come to this location again! Please avoid it too if you don’t want to eat bad-tasting food made in a very questionable...
Read moreThe counter had a sign that asked us to leave a google review so I am. While I loved TH growing up, now I avoid it. This location has pixel glass at the counters and frequent by homeless. I understand the location is challenged. But the customer service was nothing to be desired for.
From what appears to be 3 staff behind the counter only one staff was manning the cashier AND filling the orders, even as a line start to form.
My issue is that it seems like Tim Horton staff tend to employ one demographic, and my experiences have been poor. There’s no greeting, a hello, and they talk over guests in their own language and you’re not sure who they are talking to. At one point one staff came out to check inventory and this is how she worked, as she “laid on” pick up window in the one opening of the pexi glass (see picture)
I understand in these franchise models, labour shortage makes hiring difficult. However, basic training should be in place to make operation efficient, guest made to feel welcomed, and served with a level of professional.
For the management teams...
